First time trying this place and was very pleased. Very fast service for takeout. Pork egg rolls were delicious. The wonton dumplings were very flavorful so was the broth unlike most restaurants I’ve come across.

I had a great experience at Retro Cafe thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff. Phoenix and Tony went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. When I received the wrong order, Phoenix was quick to offer a solution and invited me back to make things right. A few weeks later, Tony provided me with two pho soups and made sure I was taken care of. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely recommend Retro Cafe to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Great banh mi Vietnamese sandwiches near Cypress, TX! I had a combination sandwich and Vietnamese coffee. Both were excellent. I came on opening day with some friends. Everyone enjoyed the food. We also liked the super hero retro decor and look forward to seeing how the restaurant continues to develop in the coming days ahead. Great job, Retro Cafe!

This is a great place. Just wish it was closer to me! The bread is nice and crispy. The butter taste awesome! The grill pork meat is not fatty like many places and I like it! Great to have Vietnamese. The wonton broth is really good and my daughter likes it. The vermicelli has all the ingredients! Can’t wait to come back!!!

We’ve been ordering from there for a while now, and it seems like over the past few visits, the amount of pork in the vermicelli has been dropping off noticeably. We ordered there a few weeks ago, and there were literally 4 pieces of pork in each bowl. We may try again at a later date, but considering what we paid for the scraps we received, it won’t be any tike soon.
