Krishna Restaurant in Paris’s Little India is easily one of the best South Indian spots we encountered during our European tour. We ordered the Idli, Vada, Paneer Dosa, and Masala Dosa, and every single dish was amazing. To top it off, the coffee was excellent! If you are looking for authentic flavors in Paris, this is a must-visit.

Normally this was my favorite place to go when ever I’m in Paris. It has been for the past 10 years!
But after my last visit I’m never going back.

Plus point for me it the food is vegetarian.

Normally I take the masala dosa or a thali. I have tried other dishes in the past but it was disappointing every time.

This time we took two other dishes and ask for non spicy due to medical issues.
Normally it’s not a problem. The waitress said the same and when the order came it was full with chili powder.
I said something to the waitress and she said she couldn’t do anything about it except offer raita. And from experience I know that does not help because the chili is still being consumed is the problem.
The answer was she couldn’t help us.
Instead of offering another dish she just let it be.
It’s a fault made by them and we still ended up paying for this dish.

Later we order something else which was better because it wasn’t loaded with chilies, but to be honest I wouldn’t recommend the pootjes either. They tasted burned.

While we were waiting for our second dish a tall lady wearing a face mask wanted to put out groceries containing food items on the floor. She was very rude about it and almost through the bag on the floor.

I have never encountered this behavior here, but this rude behavior and not taking diet restrictions into consideration means I won’t be coming back here.

A wonderful find, a short walk from Gare du Nord. Excellent dosa and lots of other lovely looking choices, all vegetarian. No alcohol served but nice soft drinks. Fast service and good sized servings. We left full and satisfied. Recommended!

Food was really good felt like home after tasting it. On a trip to Paris good food after a really long time. Staff at their finest. Recommended Chai ( TEA) after the meal

All the other negative reviews were absolutely correct. They served cold food. Not sure when they have prepared. Even one of the waiters answering rash when questioned about it.

Ordered meals, apart from sambar everything is worst.

Absolutely pathetic the food and behaviour.

DO NOT EAT HERE. DON’T ENCOURAGE THIS RESTAURANT.

Not sure how this place has 4⭐️ reviews—clearly from people who’ve never eaten real South Indian food. It didn’t resemble South Indian cuisine in taste, quality, or authenticity.
This was honestly one of the most disappointing meals we’ve had.

Everything we ordered- tomato & broccoli soup, raw banana fritters, upma and veg thali- was served cold, tasteless, and completely lacking salt.

The owner/manager was grumpy and rude, and kept cribbing at the young girl running around doing everything. When we pointed out the food had no salt, she defended it by saying “French people don’t like salt.” Absolutely absurd.

We walked out half hungry and went to another restaurant. Total waste of time, money, and patience after being famished the whole day.
Never returning, and definitely not recommending.

As an Indian, I was disappointed when I visited this place to quench my hunger with some Indian delights. But, to our surprise, even the tea wasn’t good. It was too sweet, even when we told them to make it medium sweet. The dal makhni we ordered had a totally different color and a sour taste. Rotis too had a lot of dry flour on it. Palak paneer was abysmal. Was just disappointed. Maybe they did changes to suit the taste of local Parisiens.

Cold food, asked for spicy rice got white and masked girl behind the bar was not nice. Waiter was ok, restaurant design was ok, and menu full of vegetarian option. Just change attitude and make it hot and everyone will be happy.
