Went to the Chloe to start off the celebration of my son’s 21st birthday and it highly exceeded my expectations. As soon as we arrived, Jordan greeted us with a great smile and provided us a warm welcome in to the beautiful dining area. Our waitress, Kate, was amazing and made sure my son was taking care of on his birthday. As we left, the Maitre de, Maria was readily available to take our pictures outside and made sure to wish my son a Happy Birthday. The goat cheese and olive oil appetizer and the drinks were AWESOME! I can’t wait to go back!

I always thought The Chloe was just a hotel & bar, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a restaurant with a small but interesting menu!

For drinks I had their signature limelight cocktail with mezcal + aperol. I was hesitant about this combo, but it turned out to be super! A friend and I shared the charred broccoli and cauliflower (excellent, with the Parmesan crème), artichoke farratto (flavored to perfection), and seasonal gulf fish… but the absolute standout (and what we both said we’d be coming back for) was the ice cream sandwich

Jasper is a great host waiter at The Chloe. The bar and restaurant are fantastic. The drinks and vibe at the bar with so many nice nooks to settle into. Four of us enjoyed our starters and main courses and the dessert was a golden buzzer (ice cream sandwich).

Jasper made it all work with great humor and grace. Thank you to the entire team at the Chloe.

We had such a fun day by the pool at the Chloe! It was lively but not too crowded. Food was served surprisingly quickly and was tasty. All staff were kind and helpful! I’d recommend this spot for a pool day.

Wow. Just riding on st Charles looking for place to eat and saw the umbrellas so we stopped. We did not have reservations so the wait was a couple of hours, but were able to sit at lounge areas in bar which was great… just had to order food at bar and they brought to you. Drinks and food were excellent. Bartenders were also top notch. It’s also a 14 room hotel.

They were incredibly helpful in putting together a great experience for some friends for a birthday cocktail evening. Called day of and they were able to find a comfortable set up for 10 with exceptional service.

Burger is fire. Dumplings were great. Old fashioned was crazy (good). Espresso martinis . Wine list was extensive. Manager and hostess were lit. Pork belly lettuce wraps were mid. Overall ambiance was great. Lots of specials & deals. Would recommend if you live here but if you’re visiting I wouldn’t. During the summer, pool is amazing if u get there early (it fills up quickly BUT service workers get discounts ☄️)

The Chloe is my absolute favorite place in New Orleans. From the very first moment, stepping inside feels like being transported through time: as you enter the house, you have the impression of walking into someone’s home from another era. Passing through the salon and into the bar, you almost expect to see Ernest Hemingway himself seated in a corner, so intimate and cozy is the atmosphere.

The beautiful dining room invites quiet, peaceful evenings with friends, bathed in a sense of calm elegance. After enjoying a short but exquisite selection of cocktails, you simply let yourself be carried away by a wonderful meal, with delicious dishes inspired by both Italian and French traditions. And of course, no visit would be complete without surrendering to their famous ice-cream cookies, the perfect finale to an out-of-this-world experience.

Brunch under the oak trees is a delight here. Loved their cauliflower appetizers with fried chicken and biscuits in main.

This much-anticipated dinner, unfortunately, turned out to be a significant disappointment. The restaurant itself is charming, and we were seated at the back. However, the tables are so tightly packed that we had to disturb the guests at the neighboring table just to squeeze into our seats. While the ambiance was pleasant and I appreciated the Sade music playing in the background, the overall experience left much to be desired.

The cocktails were decent, but the cabernet wine was surprisingly poor in quality. The food was enjoyable, but it’s hard to overlook the fact that after spending nearly $200 per couple, we left the restaurant still feeling hungry. What truly ruined the evening was the service, which completely killed the mood and made us want to leave as quickly as possible.

On a Monday night, with the restaurant half-empty, the service was inexplicably slow. Our waitress barely checked on us, didn’t ask if we wanted additional drinks, and offered no effort to engage or make us feel welcome. The lack of attention made the experience feel unprofessional and left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.

While the garden is visually lovely, the strong smell of cigar smoke was overwhelming and detracted from the atmosphere. Sadly, I cannot see myself returning. For the price, I expect an experience where I feel valued and welcomed—not one that leaves me disappointed and dissatisfied.
