Normally the food is great here at Rene’s so I thought I’d try something a little different. I ordered the steak with a side of rice and beans. I think it’s a number 9 on the menu and you can clearly see that it’s a steak with a bone in it on their wall menu. As you can see from my picture all I got was ground up dried out steak in little bits and no one even said anything to me as I walked out. I even told the front staff that I wanted my steak medium rare and they didn’t correct me to tell me that a steak wasn’t available. Completely disappointed with their false advertisement and I will be going back tomorrow to talk to the manager to get my money back. I will not be back.

Stopped by today for Taco Tuesday and got a couple carne asada street tacos and an order of 3 rolled floutas. Loved every bite. The gal at the drive thru was so sweet and kind. This was my first time there and will be back.

Food was great, and usually is. Service is usually acceptable, but this time it was not. I waited 20 minutes in the drive thru. The last 4 minutes was me sitting at the window, with no one opening it to greet me. The truck behind me got frustrated and went inside after they took his order. He then was given his food before me. The staff never said sorry for the wait. I get down the road, and realized they didn’t return my card. I went back, and went inside to get it. They apologized for not returning it, but still said nothing about my enormous wait.

Pulled a long string out if a burrito while eating it. Told the owners daughter and showed the person who prepared the food and he never said or did anthing. Will never go in there ever again. The previous owner served good food.

Love the taco Tuesday special. Tacos are delicious and they have a great Hot sauce. We get a dozen each week with beans and rice. Quick service but you must ask for sauce and/or limes if you want them. Enjoy

Shrimp burrito special is what we always get and they never disappoint. Late night drive-through Mexican food cravings? They’ve got you covered. Sunday afternoon recovery cravings? Yep. They’ve got your fix then too. If you go in and sample the sauces and carrots on the salsa bar, that’s where it’s at! Yum! Don’t pass this West Central dive by!

Now this is something to taco bout! I am obsessed with the breakfast burritos, and that spicy green sauce to top it off is the actual best. I will eat the breakfast burritos many days in a row and I know this because I’ve done it. Hopefully in the future they could move to a bigger location and have more drive thru help. Other than that no complaints the food is fantastic!

If I could give this place a 0 star review I definitely would!!! & I wasn’t even the one to go to this place! I was FaceTiming a friend who went to grab a late dinner and was mistreated! The “gentleman” that took her order was EXTREMELY rude!! He wouldn’t let her finish ordering kept interrupting saying “Are you done? Is that it!” She tried asking if they served Al Pastor and he ignored her!! So she finished her order asking for a Mexican coke but when she paid and he gave her the order she waited at the window and he rudely asked what she needed. She kindly said she was waiting for her Mexican coke and he told her she hadn’t ordered it! I CLEARLY heard her order the coke! Not only that but he charged her card without telling her the total and not giving her a receipt! Just from her experience that I heard over the phone I will definitely NEVER be giving this place my service! Nor will I recommend this place and I will definitely be making my family, friends and acquaintances aware of this place! They do not deserve service!
