A wonderful place to relax, play games, and feel like part of the KC Nerd Community. This place is like a second home to so many of us, and I appreciate the hard work that goes into the decor, the theme nights, the drink and food themes, and generally the vibe. Also the RPG library is huge and has some really rare titles if you love vintage table top role playing games!

Top-notch gaming tavern. Retail options were pretty limited but I understand it’s got to be hard to compete with online sales – that said I found several games, miniatures and merchandise I liked at a very reasonable price. Really, though, this place is about providing a very cool, inclusive, friendly space for gaming. I came for a Paint And Take event, but arrived on the wrong day (Saturday is open DnD 5e play and there were tons of people there for it, while Thursday evening is when I should have come for painting miniatures.) That said, when I mentioned my goof, they immediately offered to get me the paints, brushes and a miniature to enjoy my time there a bit longer. While I did so, I met a number of patrons happy to talk about painting and gaming. Very good vibe here. Interesting selection of drinks, some spare miniatures for you to use if you don’t have your own, and a solid offering of board games for all ages and interests. Would definitely recommend. Staff was really welcoming and engaging but not clingy/hovering.

There’s not a lot of space at ReRoll. Everything from MTG booster packs, to packaged snacks and drinks, to the food or dice, etc is over priced. Everywhere else in town sells them cheaper. But honestly the food was my biggest issue. I heard they updated the menu recently, so maybe it’s finally something more than over priced thin cardboard crust pizza and hot dogs? It feels like they’re trying to do too mich honestly. I think it would be better if they focused only on MTG and food, or only on board games and food. But they’re trying to be a board game bar, a game & hobby shop, and a D&D focused space. It might be more doable if they had more space, but they don’t. I think they would do better to narrow down their scope. I had a lot of hopes for it before it opened, but it hasn’t been what I expected or hoped for so far.

The bartender was really friendly and welcoming – I think their name was Heather? The selection of games was pretty awesome. I only deducted a star because the cocktail I had wasn’t great and the pizza is…not great, but I would definitely come here again to play games and have a beer.

I had Heather as our bartender/waitress and she was very accommodating. Got drinks inspired by cyberpunk 2077, and got to play some games to boot. It was a lot of fun and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great time.

The best board game bar in North Kansas City. Excellent selection of games, drinks, and food. Staff is incredibly friendly and they even do fun events. We stopped in on a trivia and cosplay night! Check it out- you won’t regret it!

So far I’ve been three times it’s enjoyable and has open d&d games which are super fun. All the DM’s that I’ve played with have been super great and very friendly for beginners. If you are looking to play some d&d they advertise their games on the role playing at the reroll tavern Facebook group.

Stopped by reroll tavern for the first time and we had an amazing experience! Very inclusive and very welcoming. They have a ton of different games, both new and old. We got started with simple board games like chutes and ladders and then started branching out to games we didn’t even know about! Had a great time with some friends, and we’re definitely coming back. Robert gave us a mini tour of the place and answered all of our questions. Menu items are very well priced and the drinks are sooooo good! Highly recommend for everyone!

I love this place. While I may not be the target audience, I love going! Not only are the staff welcoming, so are the patrons. There are not a lot of places that can say that.Thank you for making a place where everyone can feel welcomed.

This place was great! My wife and I came for the games and had a blast (unlimited board games for $5 each … Whaaaaat?) They had a very good selection of games too. Didn’t partake of the bar and it was a little more noisy than we’d prefer but we never the less had a great time.
