I went there for an open mic I had my service dog with me she had her vest on and was fully compliant. The owner refused to let her stay in the restaurant and said he could refuse service to whoever he wanted to. The people who run the open mic are great people however the owner and his attitude leaves much to be desired.

I went to Reid’s Deli for a Chili cook off, so I didn’t eat their food. The six chili entrants were all good. One was extremely spicy. Be aware that this is a smoking environment. Friendly staff and patrons.

The service was not overly inviting. It took about 8 min to be acknowledged while sitting at the bar in front of the server. She was busy. However, I’ve been in the service industry, and a simple acknowledgment goes a long way. It makes the patron your an annoyance instead of a customer.
This is definitely a local hangout. It seems like my kinda of place, They allow smoking, but ventilation is poor, so it makes it tough for non smokers to stay for any length of time and unfortunately decided not to order any food. (I heard they had good sandwiches)

If you not looking for the old school bar vibe then this is not for you. But if you looking for great food and a chill vibe, head on in. Plenty of events on different nights like karaoke, trivia, and live bands. I don’t drink but I am here multiple times a week for the food. Smoking is allowed so if your sensitive this may also not be the place for you.
