My wife and I travel to Marblehead/Port Clinton multiple times per year for getaways and I must say…. Reds will be a regular from here on out.
Parking is super easy and lots of room, the exterior looks nice and the interior and ambiance are extremely positive qualities. Even the bathroom is exceptional and clean. The maritime vibes are alive and well in here and I just love it.
It was so good we went for dinner and got some pizza yesterday, and this morning before heading home to the Dayton area we had lunch again. My wife got the shrimp linguine and it was off the charts. I got the Chorizo smash burger and I will say it was truly the best chorizo I’ve ever had. Amazing creativity with the menu and FRESH ingredients.
Pricing is extremely good and the atmosphere is perfect for the area. Both servers we had were super nice, offered great information and service was on point.
I’m so very glad we found this place.
PS the cauliflower crust chicken bacon ranch pizza should be classified as a drug because it’s addictive haha.

Great lunch at this restaurant! 5 star experience. A little out of the way but worth the scenic drive. Very clean inside and out, feels like it’s new. Inside dining, outside area, patio seating and a second level of seating. Food was perfect, very tasty. Full bar. Pictured is a large Cobb Salad and the Perch sandwich with coleslaw. The pizza at the next table looked awesome! Very friendly manager? checked in on us. Can’t wait to come back.

This was my first visit to Red’s Lake House.
We were immediately greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and offered our choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The restaurant was elaborately decorated for Halloween, giving it a fun, festive vibe. Everything looked and smelled clean and fresh, and the lakeside-themed décor perfectly matched the name.
I ordered the beet salad, which was delicious—lots of fresh beets and generous chunks of feta. I later found out (while chatting with the exceptionally friendly bartender) that I could have added a protein—good to know for next time! My husband had the hickory barbecue wings and loved the flavor. The fries were excellent—crispy, well-seasoned, though a bit on the small side portion-wise.
My husband had also been here earlier in the week and tried The Perch sandwich, which he said was “really, really good!”
We will be back even though it’s an hour away for us.

We went here because it had good reviews. Our server was super nice and accommodating! The food was good for the most part, and the portion sizes were generous! We ordered the grouper sandwich on a gluten-free bun (which came with fries), and a pizza with gluten-free crust. The sandwich was not bad, but could have stood to be a bit more flavorful. The pizza was made with thin prefabricated crust, as are most GF pizzas served at restaurants. But the toppings made it good. We enjoyed our drinks, and the atmosphere was energetic! We would definitely go back!

This is a little hidden gem on the lake! It’s very spacious and has a great atmosphere. I did not have any cocktails but it did look like they had a good selection even mocktails. I did try there lobster bisque with was amazing I’ll definitely be back to try more there food. I do recommend trying this place out also services was nice and friendly gree8me when I came in and saying good bye when I left. I’ll definitely be back

Red’s Lakehouse in Marblehead, Ohio was an amazing experience. The service was outstanding—super friendly and attentive—and there was live music playing, which created such a fun, upbeat atmosphere. The food selection was great, and everything we tried tasted amazing. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy good food, great service, and a lively lakehouse vibe. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

Oh my gosh! We loved this place so much! The drinks and food were amazing. We had lemonades and the slushy flight for drinks. The food was delicious! Our waitress, who was fairly new, was great. The location and atmosphere was fun too!

Finally made our first trip to Red’s Lakehouse, we live about an hour and a half away and have talked about it for a couple years, and after having dinner there it makes me realize we should have done it sooner!
Everything was spectacular beginning with our server Dianna (Princess Di)! She was wonderful and treat! The food was just as spectacular and topped off with some amazing music!
Don’t wait like we did, get there today and we will be back as soon as possible! Congrats on creating a great space! Cheers!

Decided to spend the summer in Marblehead this year. We have been visiting all of the local restaurants
Reds is hands down the best place we have been to.
The indoor/outdoor feeling of the restaurant was amazing on the Labor Day weekend. The live music in the outside space was an unexpected surprise. We were on our way out and decided to grab another drink and enjoy the live music. @tayloesxhlupp is a talented musician with a fantastic voice and the music level was perfect
We could enjoy it and still talk. The server let me go rogue on the perch taco recipe, and it was fantastic.
The slushy flight was a perfect balance of flavor and spirits. To everyone, you must put Reds Lakehouse on your dinner plans in the future. We are looking forward to coming back!
