This is an interesting place off main in Evansville. I’m glad we have something like this here. My first visit was pretty good. The atmosphere is enjoyable. They have TV’s in the booths playing k-pop, the room is slightly darkened and decorated well. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to make sure we were set up. The meal came out fast, which was unexpected, but not unwelcome. Our group tried several items- the bulgogi, the bibimbop and the beef bowl. They were all decent- we enjoyed them. I thought the fried rice was ok, nothing special. We also got a few sushi rolls, which also came out super fast. I think the rainbow roll was the best. The sushi was also ok, I’ve had better here in town, but it was enjoyable. We also tried a little soju, which was a specialty alcohol. If you haven’t tried any I recommend it, it was the best part of the night. The drinks are imported and infused with different fruit flavors- we liked apple and mango best. Don’t be fooled by the flavor, there’s plenty of vodka in the drink! Thank you for the good experience, we will be back.

I used to talk this place up to my friends as best food in town – but after yesterday’s visit, I’m not sure I can any more. The prices have increased and the portion sizes are dramatically smaller. Pictured are bulgogi dishes from May 2021 (served on the sizzling hot cow skillet) and yesterday.

I’ve visited frequently over the past couple years. I always make a point to try something new on every occasion. I really enjoyed the service as it was quick and courteous. The atmosphere wont be for everyone as there’s a ton of TV’s neat colors and relatively loud music. Again, i’m not bothered by it as it’s a unique atmosphere.

Gangnam was my first time eating Korean cuisine, so I was looking forward to it. The restaurant had trendy ambiance with an Asian flair. Each booth had its own TV, playing the current K-Pop hits. The owner was friendly and the establishment’s staff was inclusive. That being said, the overall experience was just okay. The meat was over-done, the table was dirty, and there was a mess of wires hanging down into the booth. I’ll give the place another chance next time I’m downtown and see how it goes.

This is the worst “Korean ” restaurant I’ve ever been to. Starting with the limited menu, mixed with Chinese &Japanese foods. It is WAY over priced for the galbi(9 pieces for $45). No traditional side dishes, instead we were offered “complimentary ” side dish which there was no kimchi insight… seating booth wasn’t bad but too many tvs surround you. I will not recommend this place to anyone especially if your looking for real Korean food. I spent over $150 for a family of 6 and will be stopping somewhere else for more food because the portions were ridiculously small for the high prices. Save your time and $. Also, the waiter doesn’t have a clue what certain items are in the menu, such as the “sweet potato noodle” the guy had no clue what it was called in Korean or what type of noodles they were and compared it to yaki soba…

The waitress was excellent. The building was interesting. The food was adequate. The signature dishes were yawn-worthy. The price was not justified. I would not consider returning.

I got bagogi beef. It was mostly gristle and bone chunks, tatsed great. It was as close to traditional Korean food; however, if you pay a premium price, you should get premium food. Kimchi was great.

Average food at a high price. Kimchi fried rice was suppose to have stir fried vegetables. The only vegetable I saw was the Kimchi and cost $2 more to have the Kimchi in it for a total of $14.99. Ridiculous. We paid an extra $4 to add shrimp. It looked like 3 shrimp cut into pieces. The rice was fair at best. The California roll was just okay too. On the flip side it is a cool looking place and our server was nice.
