I went to Reds Grill in Rock Hill, SC on yesterday Friday the 27th of February. I had heard that you could get good breakfast there. I went through drive through expecting to get a a good ole hot country breakfast. So after waiting over a hour to get to the window to order. I placed my order sausage, two eggs, grits with cheese, and a side of bacon. To my surprise the lady returned to the window and said the order would be $ 15.42 almost $16 I was surprised but I said ok and went ahead and paid for my food using my debit card.Again the lady returned to the window with a receipt for me to sign and I did and in place where it said tip I marked 0 with a line through it. The lady then tells me to either park or circle the building and get back in the drive thru line which I opted to do because yesterday morning was rather overcast. Again there was two cars in front of me in drive thru and to my surprise she didn’t park either car. So patiently I waited an hour in the drive thru watching people come and go thinking this food is going be good. I finally made it back to the window and the lady told me to hold on as I watched her walk over and get my plate from the top of what looked like a food cooler and bag it with my condiments. At that moment I started to demand her to refund my money but I was in such good spirit nothing was going to ruin my day untill I looked at my account this afternoon the next day to see that I was charged over $32 dollars. The wait time did not leave any room for this type of error.

Small town feeling, food was absolutely delicious and was exactly what I was looking for. It’s like your Southern grandma made you breakfast with love. I would DEFINITELY go back again. Service was great, never had an empty drink. Food was reasonably priced, and more than worth it.

If you’re looking for great home cooked meals and you are in Rock Hill try Red’s Grill. It’s been serving breakfast and lunch since 1948. As soon as you open the doors, you will see red swivel chairs at a counter facing the cook who is working the grill. The smell of fresh eggs and bacon cooking will make anyone order breakfast. It’s a small dining area, so be patient if they are busy. But once the food is served and you take a bite, it is worth the wait. I saw fish and grits go out, grits w/cheese and a biscuit, tons of Frenchtoast being served, hamburgers served, if you get a bologna sandwich it’s a thick cut of bologna , pancakes are huge, and delicious looking club sandwich being served at 10:30am. I had 2 eggs over easy with livermush and hashbrowns one morning. It was delicious ! The next time, I had the livermush and egg sandwich and my work partner had liver and onions. The sandwich was absolutely delicious. The liver and onions looked as good as it tasted. Will definitely go back to try other items off the menu. It’s a great place for breakfast or lunch.

Hadn’t been here in a long time so we decided to stop by since we were back in the area. They’ve added a drive thru in the post COVID era but aren’t necessarily equipped to handle both dine in and carry out orders efficiently… the wait time for our food was a little long. I ordered cheese grits, one egg, toast, and hashbrowns and everything was good except the hashbrowns (too crispy). Customer service was great and it was nice to see there was still some good down home southern hospitality among the customers dining together.

What a cozy place to have breakfast. I felt like I came home when I walked in the door. We were greeted and waited on by T, and Michelle delivered our food and continued to make sure we were well taken care of. The food was really delicious and you could tell it was cooked with love. We were in town for the United States Disc Golf Championship Doubles Tournament, and this breakfast was the fuel I needed to kick-start my first round.

Very busy local joint. The wait for my food was worth it. Nothing fancy, just plain good food.

My Saturday morning haunt when I’m in the country. Food is the best I’ve had for a down home breakfast. Reasonably priced, plenty to eat, and the staff makes you feel like family. Highly efficient and professional. Can’t say enough…

My friend and I stopped by Red’s Grill on a Thursday afternoon. Since it was our first visit, we decided to dine in. We heard about Red’s Grill from his former co-workers. It was a good amount of patrons sitting at the counter, which was expected at the hour we arrived. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who provided us with a menu that included a large selection of breakfast and lunch items and a few dinner meals. We placed our order and then thr nightmare begin. We waited over 30min b4 the waitress bought us our food…and the sight of that tiny, dry hamburger hidden between the dry tasting bun was pathetic! And, ithe bunlacked any of the juice from the birger soaked into it’s insidesurface. The fries were dry, hard, tasteless and def not handout. The patron behind us was coughing and blowing her nose as she waited for her food–and she was there b4 we arrived. We could not move back to empty booth behind us because the view on one side looked directly into the men’s washroom!!
