Went here with a bunch of colleagues from work. Place was pretty packed for a Wednesday. We made reservations ahead of time and were seated in the back. After a few cocktails we ordered main course and i also ordered the tuna fish tartare starter. The dish was very original with the addition of the rice crispies (see pic). The tuna was fresh and delicious. Main course i had the scallops which were seared to perfection. Environment is a bit loud (hard to have a conversation). Waitress was very professional. All in all nice dining experience.

Redd was very good. The portion sizes were really nice so we got 3 courses. We had the pork belly appetizers, our main, and shared the butterscotch dessert. All were fantastic!

We got the halibut and the chicken. I thought the halibut was tastier than the chicken. The cocktails were amazing! The atmosphere was good and the service was excellent, very friendly staff. I just felt for the price you’re more paying for the atmosphere and brand, but it’s not the best food I’ve had in Rochester. It’s not a bad place to take someone on a date or bring folks from out of town – It’s not embarrassing or anything like that – just not the “best” food.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at REDD. From the minute we walked in we felt like special guests. We were welcomed in by the host.. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The rest of the wait staff were also very efficient. The food was next level. We started with a chopped salad that was perfectly chilled, fresh with a nice variety. The two apps we had may have been the star of the meal. Our main dishes of pork chops and bolognese were perfectly prepared and presented. Being a birthday dinner we had desert. Butterscotch pot de crème was creamy with the perfect balance of cream and butterscotch. The chocolate tart was also a solid choice. A fine bottle of Pinot Noir topped off the meal. Highly recommend REDD.

The pork belly was fantastic, although I thought the grilled chicken was a little bland. I would recommend getting something else because everyone was talking about how good their dish was! However, everything tasted good overall and the service was great despite how busy it was. Great atmosphere too. Definitely recommend.

Went here for my anniversary and was greeted with a drink to toast which was nice. Great service from our server and his assistant. The food was very good, my Peruvian steak was over salty for me & the tiramisu was on the smaller side, but everything else was amazing. The pork chop, and the tuna tartare was good but the star of the show is Roberta’s bee sting pizza. The drinks were also fun.

My first time dining at a New American restaurant. Everything was delicious and had incredibly unique flavor. I had the lobster risotto, tagliatelle pasta, and some sort of butterscotch dish for dessert and each one was divine in its own way. Great atmosphere with cozy lighting and excellent music choices. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a more upscale dining experience in Rochester.

the best restaurant in rochester! i have never experienced such good service before- the wait staff were professional, kind, and very efficient. we got complimentary cookies from the kitchen and they were so good! would highly recommend the pork belly, lobster risotto, scallops, and butterscotch pudding. i will definitely be coming back!
