Update: Tonight, I had the fish and chips. I don’t think I’ll be ordering the garlic fries again because the grated Parmesan is not very good.
We ordered the Parmesan Brussel Sprouts, and they were wonderful. An order of fried pickles was also ordered, but I don’t care for fried pickles.
The fish and chips were amazing.
Update: The food and service were great tonight.
Update: The food was okay, but when I asked for pink in my burger, I expected some pink. One other person asked for pink while one person wanted no pink. She got pink, and neither of us wanted pink, got none.
Update: Tonight, the fish and chips were awesome.
Update: The monster burger was amazing, as were the Parmesan Brussel Sprouts. The service was subpar, with no drink refills or asking if we wanted more of our bottomless sides. Very disappointing.
UPDATE: Tonight dinner was hit or miss. The fries arrived hot and fresh. The fish was cooked in cold grease, so it was soggy on the outside. The coleslaw was good as usual.
Update: Pizza and coleslaw tonight for dinner. It was excellent. Last time we were there (two weeks ago) they were out of pizza. I ordered the large meat (leftovers for lunch) added mushrooms and light sauce. It was very nice. The thin crust is crispy, and not too much bread. The coleslaw was on point as usual.
I order the special and it included ribs
I finally get my order and ♀️ ribs were so hard I sent them back
They come back and the waitress comes .. not manager… She gives me a coupon for free shake appetizer or dessert.. no comp no partial off nothing I had to ask for manager
She comes and I let her know I felt this coupon was not far for as long as I had to wait .. and it was too be all you can eat fries.. we only had gotten 2 baskets not much… She goes and adjusted the ticket
It’ll be done time before we go back
Not one of those items was not only not correct but they tasted like they had been sitting out for at least 30 minutes. On the email it said it would be ready in 15 realistically I knew that wasn’t true so I waited about a half hour went back to pick it up. The girl said it wasn’t ready yet and she honestly didn’t know when it was gonna be ready, but it would be soon so I waited another 15-20 minutes.
Have my girlfriend go in because I was already frustrated with the response.. strike two.
So as she’s getting into the car I see a look of disappointment. She was very excited to try that fizzy drink with the foam on top except there was no foam it had disintegrated because it had been sitting there for so long. They had to redo my drink because it had been sitting there for X amount of time and that was just a regular soda definitely needed. Its bag changed from the dispenser, flat! Our burgers were not fresh barely could taste the warmth. It’s like it, sat there for the hour & 10 minutes that it took for me to get my order. My girlfriend shake was half full in this case I’m gonna look at it as half empty. Even though they had already had to redo our shakes because they were melted from sitting there so long.
I never thought I would say that I can’t wait to get back to Utah because at least I know our Red Robin in West Valley would never ever not only treat me like that, but they would guarantee my food was fresh as they always have for the seven years. I’ve been going there.
Definitely don’t recommend online orders.
Maybe the food will be better as a sit in, but the staff is quite young and Spacey to say the least.
The only satisfying factor of it all was, unfortunately, I did not get his name, but he has fluffy, almost shoulder legs, blonde hair, and wears glasses… I feel like maybe if he was running that place it would be different..
Manger was very attentive to everyone’s needs and very pleasant. Thank you guys keep up the good work
Will most definitely never be back to this location, which stinks, because we come here half the time we come into town several times per year. Maybe if Tina isn’t there anymore, we may consider it. Do better with hiring more tactful managers, please.
I only write reviews for experiences that have been REALLY impactful- good, or bad.
I trust in honest reviews to appropriately decide how to spend what little extra money I get. I appreciate knowing that my money is going to be well-spent on a delicious meal that I enjoy ☺️
Unfortunately, this restaurant did not provide me with an experience I unequivocally appreciated.
I spent $27 and change (including a $5 tip) on…. Get this: A single (NOT delicious- but simple, decent tasting) burger, a typical side of sweet potato fries, and a sweet tea. Wait, what?
First, the burger patty was really wide, sure… But also really thin. Not what I was looking for. You hear the term that Red Robin LOVES to use, “Gourmet Burger”, and you think…. Thick, juicy, dripping burger…. Something you can REALLY get your mouth around and delightfully mau down….
At least those are MY thoughts.
However, the overall experience and cost was NOT something I construed to be at a level where I could suggest a couple of small improvements that would REALLY put them over the top, because everything else was already great as it was…
It is, honestly, disappointing that this restaurant has chosen to focus on profit instead of quality, because the atmosphere was EXTREMELY welcoming and inviting. And, from what I saw, it was an awesome place to work at- VERY understanding about family needs of their employees
If whomever owns Red Robin could learn how to reprioritize their business plan, and make some small changes that would provide a massively positive impact to their customers, they would absolutely ROCK Pocatello!
I have no clue who the owner of this establishment is, and it’s not my job to track them down to let them know my personal thoughts about their business, but if they happen to see this review and would like to discuss ideas that I think could be applied to improve their customer ratings, I would be happy to do so. Under the plan this restaurant is operating now, I can’t imagine it will be around much longer.
I originally asked one waitress how to get ahold of the restaurant directly if I wanted to leave feedback that may be less-than-desirable to the owner/manager, instead of putting it in my review (I was directed to the website, btw.)…
Instead of writing every little negative thing about my experience at Red Robin in this review, I have decided to simply stick to the facts- as well as information I think is relevant, in order to provide an accurate description of my individual experience.
For reference, I’m adding a picture of the meal I received at Red Robin, and the receipt.
I’m also adding the place I’m comparing my meal at Red Robin to… It’s a horror-themed burger joint in Salt Lake (I never thought I would be recommending ANYTHING from Salt Lake to anyone… Ever… in my life- but here we are ).
It’s called Burgertory. This place is… Clever. Awesome. Simple. Perfect.
I had a meal at Burgertory about 24 hours before my meal at Red Robin.
Lastly, I’m adding pictures that I found relevant to my experience at Burgertory… Cost comparison (minus ONLY the sweet tea), actual photo of a burger from a different reviewer* (I was literally so satisfied with my meal, and price of the meal, that I was in pure bliss eating my burger, which meant I didn’t even THINK about taking a picture of it, though I wish I had), and a screenshot of their website if anyone in Pocatello is in Salt Lake, and you’re looking for a TRULY appetizing burger experience.
I will also be adding a 5-star review to Burgetory’s Google page in the near future.
Y’all make up your own minds. ✌️
