I’m not sure if it’s OK to give 5 stars when I’ve only eaten their food once, but it’s good enough to say I will go back. I’ve been eating Indian food locally since 1976. Although this doesn’t taste like what I associate with “Indian” (such as, their tandoori chicken does not taste as if it were cooked in an actual Tandoor) all 3 dishes that I ordered were nevertheless completely tasty and satisfying, rich flavored and well spiced.

We love Red Pepper and had been to their Scotch Plains dine in many times but this convenient take out location right next door is just perfect! The owner, Tanya, is very personable and the food has not dropped in quality, taste and freshness over the years. I ordered the favourites out of sheer greed, just because I saw the new place – Butter Chicken and Punjabi Chole Bhature…. finger licking good.

Very satisfied with this place. I ordered paneer tikka masala with samosas and coconut naan. The quality of the meal is Superb and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Would recommend. Defiantly coming back. I really wanna try the desserts among other things. Please check this place out 🙂

We are so excited that a red pepper opened here! The food is so delicious and nourishing. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Very convenient location with good parking across the street.

Waited over 1:15 for my order to be ready it’s fine if the food is good but they forgot to give me my appetizers the chicken was very tough let’s just say my dogs loved the kabobs and I threw my tikka masala away it didn’t taste like tikka masala more like penne vodka sauce .. and I love Indian food .. there is way better places to go very sad about this won’t order there again they are a mess in there they need someone to only take orders and give them
