Good food and lots of choices on the menu and pleasant staff. However….the spice level is very inconsistent. If you say make it mild, there is sometimes no heat to it at all, but other times it’s so hot it hurts and it’s literally not edible. Wish they could get this right.

In the past four months I have had Red Panda twice. Once was dine-in and once was take out. Very good quality. Large menu with choices for. We ate well and had plenty of leftovers. It was not only tasty but also felt very fresh and healthy.

I ordered for delivery. Their food is not Indian except in its name; the spices, sauces and ingredients are all messed up. On top of it, they put so much color in their food to make it red that my nails stayed red for two days despite washing my hands multiple times. My wife and I pledged not to order from here ever again to avoid forgetting what Indian food tastes like. It was inedible!

They have great Indian food here. The only downside is the prices. They keep raising them. You get a lot of food, plenty to share or eat for three days, but if you’re looking for just a normal one meal portion the price will steer you away. But you don’t know the actual price until you are in there looking at a menu cause they taped over the old prices on each one.

Red Panda in Essex is the best taste of Indian food. The run down little house right off the street is a little “off-putting” but do not let that stop you from enjoying this little taste of heaven. The smells will make you forget all about that! Chicken kebab and chicken paneer is what we enjoyed during this visit. But we have ordered the chicken biryani and different curries and we love them! Even my young kids love the food! Homemade naan is especially delicious! I highly recommend, even for takeout.

The food is excellent! There is such a depth of flavor to everything. Do give them a try! We decided to eat in and I realized I’d forgotten to order a drink. As if my mind was read someone came over with glasses of water (and came back with a pitcher later!). They made sure we had all we needed.

Amazing food! Service was great and the food was extremely flavorful. Highly recommend the pork dumplings and the mango drink! Will be coming back again!
