My parents, daughter, and I came here for the first time tonight. We started with drinks and ordered the grouper bites and potato skins for appetizers. The serving sizes were perfect for our table (food is missing in the pictures because we descended upon them like locusts), and Karen did a great job of timing the appetizers with our meals. For entrees, we ordered the tavern burger, red snapper, and surf & turf. All of the food was piping hot, the garlic bread was garlicky and delicious, and the serving sizes were perfect with the appetizers. For dessert, we got both the key lime pie and the pineapple upside down cake. Try the latter with a scoop of ice cream, it was fantastic.

Cute little restaurant off Jacaranda and I-75. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Food looked very nice and was very tasty. They had a lot of fish options to choose from. I am having issues swallowing and they were fine with me only ordering sides. My mom really enjoyed the shrimp. We would go back.

This was the second time we had eaten here. We were seated promptly with our drink order taken and also served promptly. I had the special, Lobster Mac and Cheese. My partner had the Grouper Reuben with fries. This was his second time ordering theGrouper and said it was tasty. He also said my veggie side looked better so he will try it next time. I was surprised to get large pieces of Lobster claw along with chunks of tail (with the better than usual) tasty Mac n cheese. I was in heaven…will look forward to visiting the Red Grouper Tavern again soon! JSYK…a full bar here should you want one…

This place is absolutely phenomenal!!! The owners came up to our tables separately to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and explain their food. Everything here is FRESH. Nothing frozen. You could absolutely tell the difference!! I will recommend this place to others for sure!!!

This is a great little place to go to if you’re ever in the area. The bartender was very attentive and he makes a great old fashioned. I met the owner who was also very nice. The food was delicious. I had the fried calamari for an Appetizer and the steak for my main course. It was cooked perfectly but maybe a tad undeseasoned. Other than that everything was great and I highly recommend this place.

First time here and we were very impressed with the quality of food and the service. Melanie was very cheerful and helpful in explaining the menu and how everything is freshly made. We had the salmon bites (which was not on the menu but should be!) clam chowder, chili and veggie medley. Will definitely be back to try more.

Tucked away on Commercial, this is destined to be packed. The service was impeccable and really friendly …the Red Snapper I has was some of the best I’ve had …was neither overcooked nor oversalted as many restaurants seem to think is necessary …go here …you won’t be disappointed

Our table near the door was really sticky. Salt grinder and ketchup were neatly empty. Not a good first impression. Our female server was friendly and attentive. My fish n chips was greasy and contained very little fish. The server had told us it was their top seller. Plentiful fries that were adequate. Coleslaw was a generous portion and was good. My husband spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were not good and seemed reheated. Pasta as well. Salad was small but tasty. Overall, we wanted to give this restaurant a try, but all things considered, it’s not a repeat.

The four of us had dinner this evening at Red Grouper and the dining experience was excellent. Melanie greeted us as soon as we walked in and was professional, attentive, and even joined in some of our light-hearted bantering which made for an even more enjoyable time. It was happy hour, with $1 off drinks. No skimping on the pour portion.
