The orange chicken was good, but not what I would call orange chicken. It wasn’t sweet but was a little spicy like a generals chicken. The breading didn’t get soggy with the sauce and it was a decent portion for the lunch size.

My partner and I have been coming here for months now, every time is as good as the last. We have never been disappointed in the quality of food. We drive 30min to eat here often. The Mongolian beef is nostalgic and perfect every time. The veggie dish is filled with a delicious variety and the sauce pairs perfectly with every bite. If we lived closer we would definitely be regulars here. The customer service is always great always super friendly and welcoming. Wish I could provide pictures of our plates but we’re always too excited to eat to remember to take pictures of the lovely dishes! Red Ginger Asian Cuisine is a must to add to your rotation of eating out!

Great find with casual atmosphere, delicious food & fantastic customer service. Small selection of bottled beers & sake. The iced oolong tea was refreshing & flavorful. We started with the sesame balls filled with red bean paste they were an amazing flavor adventure. We ordered the orange chicken which was vibrant & just spicy enough. We also had the green beans with beef, it was savory & so tender. Definitely a delicious find!!

Edit we went back and got the orange chicken, Mongolian beef and wonton appetizer and it was fantastic!! The Mongolian beef is a must try
Had a great experience at Red Ginger the other day! We ordered the coconut curry with tofu, the orange chicken (with shrimp substitution), a side of rice and a pot of tea and a spring roll appetizer rand it was all delicious! The spring roll was so delicate, probably the best I’ve had. The orange sauce is better than any other restaurant and tastes quality. The curry was also perfection. Excited to come back and try more! The picture does not do it justice but the reviews people have left definitely do!

I really enjoyed the dishes we ordered. Fresh ingredients, flavorful, great attentive service, quickly cooked, and served hot. The crab rangoon hit the spot. Not too crabby and perfectly filled. The orange chicken is not ‘sticky’ like fast food and has a sauce that’s great to eat over rice. Super flavorful and this was my fav! Just wish these dishes were served with hot white rice. The spicy basil fried rice and pad Thai were delicious. It’s a Chinese fusion type menu, all tasting homemade. This will be our go to place.

Ordered pickup. No one knew where it was, and no one ever could explain to us why.
Waited 20 minutes for them to recook all our food. No ownership or apologies were made.
Honestly the food was a big miss. Beef dishes were great but the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken tasted old and hard.

Finally, great Chinese food in Bellingham. Whether you live here or are just passing thru, this place is worth a visit. The menu is pan-Asian, but mostly Chinese with a few Thai and Japanese items. On our first visit we had 7-flavor beef, ginger shrimp, cashew chicken, vegetable fried rice, and spicy-garlicky sautéed string beans, plus jasmine rice. All were fantastic, generous, and well-presented. Five dishes for four people with lots to take home, cost was around $25 per person. The lunch specials (most around $15, Mon-Fri only) are great, but more options on the main menu so we usually order from there. Clean establishment (including rest rooms), friendly service and an all-around great experience.

This place is relatively quiet. We ordered curry and sweet and sour chicken with rice (they do not offer pork). The curry was good, but the chicken was tasteless. Overall, the food was good. The music, on the other hand, did not sit well with me. The restaurant played very authentic music at a very low volume, as a result, I could only hear the high-pitched notes and cymbals, which were very unpleasant. I am not sure if I will go there again.

Overall a very good Asian Cuisine place. The hours of operation are unique such that they are closed from 3pm-4pm every day. The drink selection was fairly good, we got a bottle of riesling white wine and a glass of plum wine, both were very good given we were at an Asian Cuisine restaurant. We had self serve water refills which I love. The cream cheese Rangoons had a distinct chive/garlic flavor which made it a ‘hit or miss’. My wife did not like them but I thought they were OK. The sesame seed balls were the same way. No one but my mother in law liked them.
The soups are sized for a meal, not a personal appetizer. I ordered the wonton soup and the bowl was massive so our whole party shared it. The broth was not as flavorful as I hoped, but the individual components were all very good.
The a La cart menu dishes are family sized and can easily feed 2-4 people ,they come without sides obviously. One side of rice will easily feed two people, so I wouldnt get more than 2 of then for a party of four. We got orange chicken, sweet /sour chicken, and broccoli with tofu. The chicken was nice and crispy and very flavorful sauces, and the broccoli was Al dente and very fresh. Clean bathrooms and clean dining area. Nice and friendly staff, they checked in on us a few times during the meal but mustve got distracted at the end, when we finished eating we waited an extra 15 min for her to come back to ask if we needed boxes. Will consider this place again when we’re in the area

Their lemongrass chicken is genuinely UNREAL. My husband and I just eat that every single time because it’s so, so good. Best food in Bellingham, and everyone who works there is so kind.
