My first experience at Red Crab Juicy Seafood was nothing short of amazing—definitely a 5-star visit! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, the seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the seasoning was absolutely perfect. What really made the night unforgettable, though, was my server, Brittney. She was hands down the best server I’ve ever had—super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. She had great recommendations, kept our drinks full, and made us feel genuinely welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend asking for Brittney if you want top-notch service!

This was ok experience our waitress was very nice. My food was OK. I spent over $50 for a seafood boil with potatoes, green mussels and they put scallops in there even though I changed my mind and said I didn’t want them in there. That’s OK. I understand. Sometimes there’s a misunderstanding, but the plate was extremely expensive and they were listening to R&B on the audio system. It was pretty good because my boss paid for the plate ha ha!

OMG! I wish the google review had more stars so that I could give them to Nae because 5 stars just isn’t enough! This was my husband and I’s first time at the Red Crab and Nae gave us recommendations from start to finish! Without her amazing customer service and thorough knowledge of the restaurant, I’m not sure that we would have enough ourselves as much! Pie was served frozen. Taste of the food was average. Not worth the price paid. I understand paying gratuity for groups of 5 or more. I expect to still get good service regardless. Our waitress was coughing. She was hard to locate. Waitress was not cordial. The table that we were seated at was crowded.

I took my daughter for her birthday! The atmosphere was laid back. Small child friendly. Great for family fun and date night at the bar. Bar inside with football playing on tv and there was also good music. There was a partition and in the other side was family seating.

All of The staff were awesome! They were attentive and friendly! They explained the menu and offered help ! Special Kudos goes out to my waitress Telly who made sure we were enjoying our meal.

We both got seafood boils. The meal came to the table with a bib, gloves and a bucket to discard our shells. The sauce was amazing and so was the non-alcoholic Pina Colada.
It was a little pricey but reasonable considering what we got. Handicap accessible. Lots of free parking and it was right off the highway.

Definitely going back!

I ordered take out and the food turned out pretty good and was reasonably priced. Had my overall experience have been pleasant, I’d probably rate the review higher. Nonetheless, I arrived at the location and proceeded to the counter where three employees were having a discussion. Though it did seem to be work related, I was not even acknowledged until the discussion was complete. Even then one employee walked past me and the two others then awkwardly looked at me in which I initiated saying that I had a pick up order. Though that may seem minor, I expect service to come with a meal I pay for. Otherwise, I can cook at home and save my money. I remember being taught years ago when I worked in industries involving customer service to acknowledge the customer immediately no matter what you have going on to set the expectation. Perhaps it’s a lack of training or a generation thing but each customer is an opportunity to gain positive notoriety in the form of word of mouth or an average to negative review. As the saying goes, “people don’t remember what is said or done, they remember how you make them feel.” Make everyone feel valued that walks through the door so they want to return as it is repeat customers that drive small business, not the one time visitors.

This place is a hidden gem. I’ve seen it for the longest time and never given it a second thought. I was lucky enough to go last week for a friend’s birthday. The food was so delicious. It came out quickly. And the staff made sure we had everything we needed to get down to business . We ordered the #C family tray.

This was me and my husband’s first time going to Red Crab in Durham and we ordered food to go. The seafood boils are really good, the staff/services was A1, and the atmosphere while we were waiting is a vibe. The restrooms were also spotless and smelt great. On our next visit, we’ll be dining in.
