Located in the Central Building on 3rd Ave, this is a yummy spot for lunch. I had the unagi bowl, which had a grilled piece of unagi on top of rice and vegetables, served with pickled ginger. You can have it with or without a fried egg. Friendly staff and quick service is perfect for a workday lunch.

I went in for the first time today for lunch after a pretty far walk from work. They are super nice, friendly and chatted with me a bit and explained their different menu options. They suggested the samurai which I got and it is very good to say the least. It’s super vibrant looking and very flavorful. I definitely highly recommend and will be coming back again

The Samurai bowl was my absolute favorite, packed with fresh and high quality sashimi pieces. The chicken katsu, spring bowl, and red tuna bowl were all bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. Everything tasted amazing from start to finish.

I love how many veggies they give. The owner was attentive, tying my to-go bag tight and poking a hole to let steam out

Perfect portion and taste! I ordered a Unagi bowl and a Spicy Tuna bowl. Both were very tasty and filled with tons of vegetables and good meat portions. I highly recommend them. I came around 11 to avoid traffic, and the service was speedy.

Holy moly guacamole! This might be my favorite thing I’ve eaten in all of downtown Seattle! The restaurant is tiny, more of a to go spot. Very busy during the lunch rush but they handled the crowd with ease. I got the bulgogi and teriyaki bowl which was immaculate. Everything is layered, meat on top, veggies in the middle and rice on the bottom…creating the perfect fusion of goodness. It was amazing. This will become a regular spot for me moving forward! A must visit!

This is the fastest service for lunch in downtown Seattle. They have delicious food (my favorite is the Radical bowl, with raw salmon and tuna), a variety of options for everyone, and the owners and staff are wonderful. They’re so kind and friendly.
The food is always fresh and delicious. I’ve been going here for 5 years, and the quality has always been good and hasn’t changed.

Fantastic lunch spot for heaping bowls. I got the spicy red tuna and my wife got the radical. The fish cubes were large and fresh. The vegetables were crisp without being overpowering. The rice amount was just right. We loved it.
If you get the wasabi, apply as much as you want. It was quite much for me, but I’m not used to this kind of wasabi.

Red Bowls is a Japanese and Korean lunch spot in downtown Seattle right on 3rd. Around noon the line gets super long but they are so efficient here and able to crank out meals quickly. Read the menu ahead of time because as you walk in, they’ll yell to you to see what you want and make it as you make your way up to pay. Around the time you get to pay, they’ll hand you your food – it’s incredible. Portion sizes are honestly massive and the taste is great, so it justifies the price even though it’s not that expensive to begin with. Staff are friendly here so don’t hesitate to ask them questions. If you can get here before noon or after 1pm, you’ll have a better chance on not sitting in the line for 5 minutes (not bad at all). Easily one of the better bowl places in the city.
