I’ve eaten at Red Barn Cafe twice for dinner, except I had breakfast both times because it is served all day! Portions are large, so I did leave satisfied with a $10 meal. They gave me more bacon than the menu stated… too much bacon? ( Said NO ONE ever!) They serve Pepsi products and have diet Dr. Pepper that my wife loves. Service was great and our waitress was friendly. Dinner food that our neighbors had all looked appealing, though I can’t vouch for taste. Yes, I would love to eat here again.

It’s been a while since I posted but this restaurant is new on my top five list serving up an excellent breakfast with polite efficient staff. We enjoyed their Farm Hand breakfast with two eggs, three strips of bacon, hash browns, one biscuit and gravy, with perfect black coffee all of which was excellent. This jewel may not be new but I strongly recommend it to all new and old time customers, it’s worth it!

Ate there Aug 11 2023. Been a few yrs since we ate there. It has gotten better. Not as busy as when they had buffet. Servings were big. Breakfast served anytime. I had meatlovers platter. Wife had catfish. She said it was salty. Maybe won’t stay away so long till next visit. Didn’t try cinnamon roll but they used to be phenomenal.

Saw their sign on the hwy and decided to stop for breakfast/lunch glad I did. I don’t need to eat again for at least the 6 hours to my next destination if then! I’m stuffed!!!! I highly recommend the chicken fajita omelet. Love the decor too patriotic Americana/ country. Excellent food and service.

My husband and I stumbled onto this place by accident a few years ago, and it was love at first bite! Down-home cooking at its finest, and the prices are reasonable. They have a wonderful buffet for only $9.99, & it has just about everything on it except shrimp and steak. (NOTE: the buffet is no longer available since Covid).

This was our first time eating here. We left another restaurant starving after waiting 10 mins without any acknowledgement. They were very friendly and clean and fast. I had breakfast with the biggest pancake I’d ever seen, and extra bacon! My boyfriend had a chicken sandwich and fries. They even gave us some meat scraps for our dog in the car! Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back.

We had breakfast, which was yummy. Biscuits are home-made as well as the pies. We had a sweet waitress who couldn’t believe we left her a $20 tip. Her attitude and happy countess was definitely recognized.

My dad & I were hungry for comfort or home cooked food after driving to Springfield for his dr’s appt. This hit the spot! The building is not fancy but the catfish and chicken fried steak, homemade rolls and broccoli is the best we had ever had. Our server, Anna was so sweet.
