The service was horrible and extremely slow me and my brother waited 30+ minutes in the car drive thru just to get a pico de gallo cup. This was at 6:30sh in the afternoon. I promise you will wait long, dont waste your time

Raspados are the best but the car wait time is horrendous, it took us more than 30 mins on the drive thru to get our order in. We couldn’t get off the drive thru and that is why we had to wait, otherwise we would have gone to another place

The service was excellent and the raspados were delicious. The menu options are clearly posted next to the service window, and believe me, there are a lot to choose from. I went there in an August afternoon, so there wasn’t any walk-up clientele. However, the location does have a drive-thru (accessible through the alley) that attracts customers that don’t want to leave their air-conditioned cars. It’s a good place to enjoy a frozen treat of whatever flavor they can serve.

Rubens is honestly on a slow but steady decline. I think Ruben’s problem is that they have more clients but they refuse to have more goods available. To the point that everytime we go we have to ask “do you have this? Do you have that?” But they simply dont have enough cheese or lemonade or anything. As customers we shouldn’t have to ask if they have something as simple as bacon available. Being low on supply is usually a good sign cause they are busy. But if they dont step up their game and start having more staff and more supply, people are gonna stop going there. It’s sad cause I LOVE their lemonade. Now Im just going to conchitas to get tea because Rubens is just not the same as it once was.
