Amazing food and lion dance with pictures and videos
If you’re looking for authentic Malaysian food in the Raleigh-Durham area, Rasa Malaysia is the place to be! I had the pleasure of visiting with a Malaysian friend who guided me through the menu, and it was an absolute treat.
Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and perfectly executed. The spice level is moderate, making it enjoyable for a wide range of palates. The dishes were served promptly, and the quality of the food truly stood out.
Rasa Malaysia offers an incredible dining experience that highlights the vibrant flavors of Malaysian cuisine. Highly recommended for food enthusiasts who want to explore something unique in the Triangle area!
I ordered the Tom Yum Soup, and it was great! It had lots of flavor and had a good amount of seafood, mushrooms, and peppers! My server was great and warned that it is spicy, but the spice wasn’t too much and it was perfectly fine for me. For my main entree I got the drunken noodles and added scallops. It was very good as well. The portion was great, and I had some left over to share with my daughter after her movie. She really liked it. I also ordered a Thai Tea to go, and my daughter said it was really good.
All in all, the food was great and I can’t wait to go back. I was also impressed with the service. I went in at 11:00 am, when they opened, so there were only a few tables, but both my server and the other server were very nice!
BONUS: They said they can work around my wife’s crustacean allergy in the future. Which is great. Sometimes it can be hard to find good Asian food where she doesn’t have to worry about cross contamination. And they have a nice outdoor patio, so we can potentially dine in and sit there (it’s hard for my wife to sit in restaurants that cook a lot of shrimp or crustaceans).
