I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves amazing food, great service and a fabulous atmosphere. Other places don’t compare to this place. Not sure what was best, the lobster, the drinks or the beach.

We walked to this eccentric restaurant along the beach from our resort rather than take a taxi for a more expensive lobster meal at a tourist restaurant in the nearby town. This restaurant was situated beside a resort for locals that seemed more run down than for our resort.

First thing we noticed was all of the Cuban nationalistic themes including a flag of Che above the tables. The restaurant was empty when we visited although was well-kept. We ordered the lobster meal which came alongside a grilled fish fillet. The small spiny lobster was disappointing as it didn’t taste very fresh.

The meal was still relatively expensive despite the restaurant being near a local resort. We definitely paid tourist prices for a mediocre meal. The highlight was the beachside view & local vibe.

It’s right at the beach with a beautiful view of the water and the food is delicious. The food is prepared freshly and takes some time but well worth it.

We wanted to try this place since we tried another well known place for a lobster lunch. To compare the two I would never come here again. Our lobster lunch was all fried which ruined the entire taste of our meal. The fish filet, shrimp, chicken legs and the lobster all fried whereas the other place is grilled on the BBQ and much more flavourful. There was a pool of oil left on our plates….not appetizing at all. The price point was also quite expensive. $30 for the lobster lunch and $25 for two chicken drumsticks and rice. It was very busy with locals as it’s situated on a public beach. A hard no to ever returning again.

Came across this on a hike and highly recommend, shared some stories with the local that offered horse rides set up right beside this. Shared a cerveza and and had some lobster. cold beer and fresh lobster with a fantastic view beachfront and nobody around. Simply doesn’t get any better than good company and a quiet place

This place is fantastic! We walk from the Pullman down to here and are never disappointed. Cheap beer, beautiful view and large portions of great food. Lobster, shrimp, fish, rice ,veggies and plantanos which I love and look for everywhere. We went 2 x last year and will go more this year. Nice walk and very friendly staff.
