The overall experience was nice. The restaurant had a great bar and dining areas. The service was great the food was just lacking in technique. I got the calamari and the seafood pasta. The swordfish in the pasta was great and the flavor of the sauce was fantastic. The calamari needed another minute in the fryer or some hotter oil. Probably the oil as the tempura was gummy and kept falling off. The tagliatelle in the seafood had a really unpleasant gummy texture and the rest of the seafood in the pasta was overcooked.

Delicious food with excellent service! Our server Dana was professional and very sweet, checking in on us just the right amount of times. Got the bucatini with ground meat, one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in my life. Flavor of the different meats in the ragu was so authentic and bursts in your mouth with every bite. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Also got the meatball app (also great) and the Caesar salad (had too much dressing, but was still very good). Drinks are pretty good, but still give it a 5 across the board due to the outstanding food and service. The ambiance is very welcoming, great for all occasions. Eat here!

Amazing food from start to finish! Bucatini was absolutely delicious . We started with the warm bread rolls served with a garlic dip that was the best I’ve ever tasted. The fried mozzarella was crispy and flavorful, and the wedge salad was crisp, fresh, and topped with a delicious dressing. The fresh fettuccini pasta with scallops in sauce truly outstanding .
I can’t wait to return and enjoy another fantastic meal!
Highly recommend for anyone looking for great Italian cuisine and a cozy atmosphere.

I have been going to Bucatino for about 10 years
Best Italian food ! I am picky as I am Sicilian.
I have always had a great meal at bucatino. The atmosphere is superb.The staff is amazing. Our.usual server is Dina She is exceptional !! She always remembers our favorite dishes and is so sweet !

Great service!! Fair prices. Warm bread with flavored oil. Got the misti salad, which is perfect to share, dark greens, plenty of tomato & cukes . Hubby got the chicken marmalade, he said no knife needed. Tender chicken. I got the chicken parm, tender chicken, tasty sauce.

A quaint and relaxed atmosphere. Lobster ravioli was very tasty. Service was great and server was so nice. The kitchen accommodated my finicky substitution request so the scallop and shrimp dish is not indicative to their usual plating. After dinner we enjoyed a cocktail in their bar. Cool lighting dangle from the ceiling, tvs to watch the a game and a fireplace for those cold nights. Definitely a must place to try!!

We enjoyed our meal here. They were able to accommodate a large party of 20 people between two tables. For how large the space is and how many people in there it was not too loud. Flavors were yummy in the ravioli and salads. Pizza a little underwhelming. We did have a bit of an issue with a gluten-free pasta dish not being actually gluten-free (gluten in the sauce). It was a little bit strange that they would advertise the option of gluten-free pasta, but not actually make the dish gluten-free unless specifically asked. I would advise this establishment to ensure that all wait staff ask specifically about strictness of gluten-free with all people that order gluten-free pasta (at the time of ordering, not plating) so no one is harmed.

It’s fine, like the atmosphere (but it is a little loud and echo-y in the bar area), bartender very nice, waitress Brutal, starting with, “you guys know what you want?”
i’m, hi how are you? can i get you a drink, water, want to hear specials, can i get you an appetizer to start?”
I could go on, like, “you guys want the check? instead of, “ could i get you a dessert menu, coffee?) or “would you like anything g else?”z
she was just a B-Dubbs type waitress, not someone i want to even 15% on higher priced dinner.
besides her, food was fine- don’t go in there expecting authentic- it’s not home made (specifically asked about pasta) for the prices.
But, we’ll go back again, but knowing what to expect (lower expectations) next time.

Easily the best food on the cape. Why? Cape restaurants have their challenges with staffing. Bucatinos has people coming every night high season, off season whatever. Food is great. Venue is great. Live music on Thursdays. Plus…my wife who loses things constantly…I asked if they might have found my wife’s wallet. Boom. Yes. ID, vax card, cc cards all there. Thank you to the staff. Will be back as soon as we can.
