Ordered dinner and we heard the microwave fire up non stop for the next 5 minutes… The beans were burnt to the plate. The steak was obviously not cooked fresh, my girl never received the chicken that she ordered with her meal. Was the only patron in the building for the 40 minutes or so while we were there. Do not recommend but the owner was nice on our way out

First impressions were good. The owner was very nice and friendly but then the food came. The salsa was legitimately tomato sauce which only brought out the flavor of the stale tortilla chips even more. The Christian radio station that was playing was weird but at least it was mostly masked by the opening and closing of a microwave. By the sheer amount of times the microwave went off I thought for sure our food would have been at least warm but sadly no. I thank God that there was salt and pepper at the table but even that couldn’t save the bland and tasteless “authentic Mexican food” I was served. Luckily for the owner she was watching me as I left my tip or it would have been 0. Would not recommend

My husband and myself dine here regularly. Our favorites are their breakfast burritos that you create yourselves to suit your taste buds and their amazing SuzyKanoozy desert! The Service has always been personable and speedy. Would highly recommend trying this place yourself!

The other reviews on this site are those of ignorant individuals that have not experienced Mexican cuisine. This restaurant has been in in the Durand, Michigan area for over 30 years. It is owned by a local Mexican couple and run as a small town family business. The prices are pretty standard for the area and the food is the best you will find because statistically there are not very many Hispanics in the area. This is clearly be evidenced by the individual that commented above about expecting liquid cheese. The food is great and the people are great. But if you would rather have Taco Bell be my guest.

The owner is very passionate about the food she serves. The resturant is in the process of being refurbished. There is new carpet and a new counter going in. There are some items on the menu that are not authentic Mexican food like French fries, cheese cake and the best chesse and macaroni I have tasted in a long time. Kids love it. The owner is always bringing something new to the menu. Give it a try !

I would give less stars if I could. The food was tasteless, “refried” beans were black beans warmed from a can, the chips and “salsa” were terrible. The “salsa” was red tasteless soup and chips were tasteless pieces of board no salt to at least bring some sort of flavor. Paid extra for the chips and salsa which was brought out while our food was warmed up. Paid extra for a leaf of lettuce chopped up, and three cake frosting tip sizes of sour cream and 4 small pieces of chopped tomato. This was called deluxe!!!!

I visited Rancho Grande on Saturday Evening. First thing I noticed in the door is there was a sign stating “No Cards Accepted” which I thought was ridiculous. It turns out the machine was broken, so I let that slide, as I had cash on me.

Save your time and $$… WORST customer service EVER!! After arriving early to meet a friend I was told to sit “where ever”… After my friend joined me and our less than mediocre food was served to us, we sat there for over an hour with no one to return to check on us… Other than to bring the bill which we were over charged and they didn’t seem to care!!!

Food is what I expected given the state of the grounds and building. Ownership was a little too friendly to the point of hovering over our table. Would not recommend, there are much better options in downtown Durand.
