We came in on a Wednesday night looking for a slice. They serve “quarters” here which is basically two slices or you can get a whole pie. I ordered a quarter of pepperoni and my friend ordered a whole cheese pie. My quarter was perfection. The crust has a perfect crunchy buttery texture, a nice amount of pep and perfect cheese thickness layered on top. My friend is lucky he has a hungry wife at home because he only ate three of the nine slices…. So you could probably feed three people with that and my quarter was perfect for a smaller appetite.
Nice & friendly cool customer service and a wait time of about 10 minutes for the food to come out made for a good dining in experience. Would much rather wait that small amount of time to have fresh prepared food then reheated pizza slices.
As someone who grew up working at a Round Table Pizza and generally prefers New York style pizzas, this is my new alternative favorite in Portland to enjoy a tasty deep dish style pizza at a pretty good price. Could turn into one of my favorite places to frequent if I’m not careful. Getting hungry just writing this review, see you soon Ranch~

I’ve had their pizza before, but not from this location. I was immediately greeted and was told the specials/happy hour. I asked about the salad size and was very informed, which lead to me getting the Caesar to go! I also got a full pie if pepperoni. Very delicious, especially with the ranch.

Don’t be alarmed it’s Pizza in a square??? mind blowing very well put together place. I have to say the sauce did it for me very clean. The vibe is just right. Highly recommend this place.

Just ordered through Uber App and delivered to hotel. The pizza is absolutely amazing and flavorful. They do not skimp on the toppings either. Ordered 2 of these same but only one with the ricotta, because I wasn’t sure if I would have liked it. The ricotta is awesome and goes perfectly with their pizza. I only have the photo of one without the ricotta. Great pizza

We love Ranch Pizza Southeast, and we were excited to learn there was a new location opened closer to us at Montavilla. Unfortunately the food did not meet our usual expectations. We ordered a full Ricotta and Sausage pizza and a Hawaiian pizza – our usual go-to’s – for take out. Both pizzas were much more loaded with toppings than we are used to, and while I am no pizza expert, I suspect that is what caused both pizzas to be undercooked/soggy. The ricotta and sausage pizza was less impacted (it was still rather soft closer to the middle), but the central slice of the Hawaiian pizza was downright soaked from the juices of all the pineapples and onions layered with bacon on the pizza, the latter of which was sliced too large and also undercooked. I have included photos comparing what the Hawaiian pizzas look like that I got at the SE location vs what I got from Montavilla.

The ranch was REALLY good, and great pizza. It will be hard to find another square pizza as good as this. Crispy bottom with soft texture on top. Crispy pepperoni, the Hawaiian was very good too. The jalapeños were a nice touch with the sweet pineapple and the chunks of pork breadsticks not pictured were fluffy and very garlicky but yummy.
Price can look a little steep but the service was super fast and friendly, busy but has ample seating inside and out. Very clean inside

I was super dubious when my husband showed up with a fairly small pizza box after we had ordered takeout, especially when I had seen other reviews about the pizza being so expensive, but it was worth it! The pizza is deceivingly cheesy, even though it’s topped with red sauce, and I don’t know what makes it so delicious, but it is seriously good pizza.
The menu is simple, and adding toppings felt really expensive, so we stuck with pepperoni, and it’s all you need really. I was also unsure of the breadsticks since they looked basic, but they were phenomenal. Super savory and flaky, and perfectly paired with their homemade ranch sauce. It’s a pricey meal, but worth it if you feel like splurging on some top quality pizza.

Stopped in here on a whim for a slice with my daughter and it did not disappoint. I’m not usually a deep dish/thick crust person, so I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Great 80s/90s playlist we rocked to as well. Will be back!

Saw people who came in after me, who ordered multiple items get served before me. Only got a ‘sorry tickets must have gotten mixed up’ only when my pizza was just about to be ready. Pizza was fine, thick dough style no crust, flavors were good but good pizza is pretty easy to find here tbh so if I’m getting lame service, I’ll just go anywhere else.
