I spent the weekend in Edinburgh and ended up visiting this restaurant twice because it was that good. We tried the katsudon and the pumpkin katsu curry, and paired them with barley tea. We left feeling completely satisfied and full. I’ll definitely be returning on our next visit to the city.

Went for a quick dinner with my partner and we loved it! The portions are great and the food was excellent. There’s also free miso soup which is a great plus. Would 100% recommend!

Came in for dinner after walking past many times and was not disappointed. We had sesame udon with beef and the pumpkin curry and both were insanely delicious. We were looked after by Chen and the other waitstaff who were lovely and had a great playlist. We will definitely be back!!

Foods were amazing , we are here as we were recommended by couple of our frd’s said they have really good katsu.
No doubt good food and my favourite food is add an extra pouch egg on top of the egg katsu pork! If you wanted to go wild, the special chips with the dipping sauce will definitely bring you a surprise. All I can tell is the sauce taste like combination of cloudy + ice cream.
Food wise everything was nice, customer will have to get your own cutlery and made up your Miso soup for yourself from the small food bar.
Dog friendly: Only for outdoor seats, and outdoor seats will only fit in for 2 person. In such a busy road tried to ask a seat for our dog, but the sad part is even though there had couple seats not being used inside , the staff said can’t do it for us.

Great atmosphere and the starter was really good. Unfortunately, the main was quite dissapointing, but I think we didn’t choose the most flavoursome meals (Katsudon), felt it was quite dry and bland, it’s just plain rice and schnitzel.
Service was not great, feels like a sit-in restaurant with two staff at the counter, but you have to order at the till, pay in advance and then pick up your own food from the counter. Price was okay but still abit steep considering no service.

We are definitely coming back! The winter months are going to be so very manageable with that hot miso ready and waiting for us while we wait for our food. I cant wait to try the hot pots and the tasting style menu mentioned. Lovley little place!

It was amazing. Staff was kind and helpful; cute and simple interior design; food pricing was affordable and delicious; food portion size was just nice as well; they also have complimentary miso soup which was still warm and fresh.
Would say this is a perfect place to hang out with friends, definitely will come back!

Went with some friends who came to visit, I had the chicken sukiyaki and tbh it was my first time trying Japanese food that isnt sushi and it tasted great, the place has amazing music selection and the free miso soup is also amazing.
