The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Tori waited on us, and she took care of us. We had a table of 10 people, and she made sure everything was the way we ordered it. She kept our glasses full and was so nice. I would recommend Choplin’s to everyone. They have a great selection of dinner options, appetizers, salads and some of the best homemade desserts you will ever eat. You can order their desserts for your special occasions. Call and get a reservation to try out Choplin’s as soon as you can. It will become one of your favorites in this area.

Always a place I want to go to for steak. Steak medallions are like butter. The bone in porkchop is a huge portion, juicy, and tender. Desserts are house made. Crème brûlée was delish. Call and make reservations. Plenty of parking. Pricey. Always friendly staff. One of my fave restaurants in the area!

What a great experience! From our server to the music, everything was perfect. But honestly, the good was the “star of the show” here. Everything was cooked, prepared, and presented perfectly. We had duck, crab, salmon, and sea bass as well as shrimp and crab appetizers. Healthy portions and perfectly seasoned meals were so on point none of us had anything left over. We had to compliment Wes, the chef. He really knocked everything out of the park! The Bailey’s chocolate cake for dessert was thoroughly enjoyed! There was really nothing to complain about. Plenty of parking, we were seated almost immediately (I strongly suggest you get reservations for dinner). We will definitely return and enjoy Choplin’s again. I’d recommend it again and again!

I thought the food was great – French onion soup starter and scallop main were both really good. Impressed that they had coquilles St. Jacques on the menu. Good service while at the “bar” just stopping in to check it out after work.

My fiancé and I read a lot about this restaurant and we were excited to hear how this is a local chef in what was to be a more upscale dining experience. We were surprised to see that this restaurant was in a strip mall. So, it was not really what we expected from the start and it only kept disappointing from there. The highlights of the meal as a whole was the drinks, the salmon, and the French onion soup. We started with the French Onion Soup and the Crab and Artichoke dip. The onion soup was great, but the Crab Artichoke dip was bland with no taste of crab at all. It could have just been an artichoke dip only and we would have never known. Those tables around us got bread and butter served to their tables, but our server neglected to bring these to our table. It would have been nice to have with the French Onion Soup. We waited about 20-minutes to get our dinner served, but it was incomplete to start. My fiancé got the Salmon which she said tasted really good. I ordered the steak with spinach and green beans. I asked for a balsamic vinegar for the spinach and my green beans were delayed. The steak was tender but it could have been seasoned more. We both noticed that the food presentation was absolutely missing. It was just plain. My green beans came very late in the meal along with my balsamic although they gave to me a balsamic glaze when I asked for balsamic vinegar. I tried it with the cooked spinach and it was horrible. So, it went untouched. Our server was missing for most of the meal and we waited quite some time for her to return. I wanted to order another drink, but that never happened. We waited and waited to pay while those table around us left and were reseated. I asked the hostess if I get my server and about 5-7 minutes later the hostess returned and said that she could not get the attention of my server. She offered to us a free desert which was nice but we do not eat desserts so we declined. She eventually returned with our check after we asked for it and she did remove our drinks from our bill which is why this was a 3-star review and not a 2-star review. My server finally showed up after we had the hostess work with getting to us our check and taking our payment. She too offered a free dessert but we declined again. Our reservation was before 6pm and the restaurant was not busy when we arrived however she said that her really large table preoccupied her time. She should have asked for help from her peers when she was knowing that she was predisposed by other tables. I was hoping for more, but it was more of a total disappointment than anything else. I would most likely not return as it was really not worth the price we paid.

I had been here before but it had been some time since I had returned. Highly impressed with every aspect of the restaurant now. Very nice wine list, excellent food. Great service, albeit they try to push you out much faster than you want to leave. However, I truly enjoyed it.

Made reservations the night of and were seated on time. Waiter was slow to arrive to the table, but once he did the service was great. We enjoyed wine and martinis with dinner, both were delicious. I had the halibut with tomato/collard stew it was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time; a fun southern take on dinner. My husband had a steak which was also good. The food was different and very enjoyable, we will definitely be back.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I was impressed with the food, the service & the large room that was reserved for our event. Comfortable seating was a plus. I didn’t get to take a peak at the rest of the restaurant but I would be surprised if it wasn’t just as nice & comfortable as the room we were in. Everyone in our party truly enjoyed their food. I had a super salad and the shrimp & grits. Both were delicious! The shrimp & grits was made with a honey curry sauce & were slightly sweet, but creamy. Crispy shrimp, filet mignon & lamb chops were also very good. I’m so glad I finally got to try this restaurant. Oh, it was a nice touch that the chef & owner came out to greet us while we were eating & asked how things were. I’d definitely go back.
