Relatively quiet at night, probably because it’s a holiday season. Food was good. Ambiance was okay. Servers were nice and welcoming.

Enjoyed eating here during my short stay in DC! The restaurant is nicely nestled within an area full of other small, diverse shops and eateries. The food was tasty and didn’t take too long. The staff was kind and very attentive, I will definitely be back!

This restaurant became our favorite when we last came here, and we were so happy to see it’s still there. Had a great birthday dinner and owner is friendly and professional. I strongly recommend the Mango Lassi! Everything is delicious and priced right in a great locale .

Had a great meal from Rajaji. I ordered takeout but the place looked very nice on the inside. I ordered the Mulligatawny Soup and Bhelpuri dish. They were both delicious. The Bhelpuri was a flavor explosion. Highly recommended!

I had the misfortune of actually getting take out from this place. The first red flag was that rice doesn’t come with the entrees. That is despicable and unacceptable. The food is mundane, vapid and insipid. As someone of Indian descent, the food can be amazing with little time and preparation. This restaurant is not that. It’s a shame really

Food is Alright not that special. The server who is an older guy lacks the basic customer service skills and is utterly rude. He was crying for the tip amount and wanted more. I gave him 10 dollars first, but he cried for another 20, which i gave him as well. Be careful with them, if you unfortunately visit this restaurant

The owner/host is so nice, he treated my boyfriend and I like family (packing our food for us, giving us extra rice to take home, etc.) The food was also sooo delicious! Had the chicken tikka masala, gosht vindaloo, naan, and mango lassi. Everything tasted like home. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving Indian food!

can’t give 0 stars but would if I could. I had lunch here at about 2 pm on Dec 9 2022 and left a review on yelp similar to this. I had a big bug in my water and the food was lukewarm, from which I got food poisoning. I hoped the food was warm enough that the germs from the bug wouldn’t matter so I took a bite and it was as if it had been microwaved for a few seconds after being left out over night. didnt eat it after that. the chai was also lukewarm. nice ambience but not enough to save the food. I felt bad saying this to the sweet old man that took my order and delivered my food so I ordered a box for it and then took it outside a couple blocks away and threw it away. it was a waste of 20 ish bucks. Eat here at your own peril.

We went there Friday night and returned for more on Saturday night, simply because it was amazing. The wait staff was very kind and engaging. I would definitely stop in when I return to Dc. I wish I had pictures but I totally forgot as I sat down to enjoy the meal.
