When we come to Madison we make sure to come here. The service is quick and the food is great, Canes sauce is delicious. We came around 1pm and it was pretty quiet but we have come before at the same time and it was packed. I think the only complaint to be had is they only have 2 bathrooms so there is always a wait for the bathroom. Thank you for having us!

Canes customer service had always been dependent on the location. This location is filled constantly with college students but yet there were a couple of employees that stood out. Sky was pleasant during my entire visit dealing with customers who weren’t always patient waiting for their chicken strips. She smiles and obliges with the demands placed upon her.
The other employee, was a friendly gentleman with maturity of whiite hair and wearing a green T shirt that cleaned the dining area. He graciously went around greeting these young adults with a hello and how is everything going.
It’s pleasantries these two employees displayed that may not be appreciated by the busy, on the go attitudes of their young clientele but it’s the reason why this place is filled every day.
BTW, it’s also because people like me can’t stay away from their chicken tenders served hot with their version of Remolaude sauce. Along with the Texas toast! The flavors are consistent as the first restaurant outside the gates of the LSU campus. Kudos to the management staff for delivering hospitality with class.

Great place if you’re walking downtown. The food is good and the service is quick. It was difficult to find parking as you HAVE to walk to get to this location. It can get very busy during the summer and college party days!

It’s clean. Fried chicken, bread, fries. Sauce is alright. Super clean and nice atmosphere. Staff were kind and quick. Location isn’t the greatest unless you’re in walking distance. You’ll need to find parking downtown and it’ll most likely be in the ramp.
