Raising canes has been one of my go to favorites for a long time. but this is going to be my last time going to any of their locations. the chicken was bland and just overall wasn’t good the breading on the outside of it is normally really crispy, it was soggy like they had gotten a rush and just started making it without taking the time needed to do it the right way. every other location I have gone too normally fills half the container with fries and has the slaw on the side for a caniac but they didn’t do that. I found it odd that my food was allready sitting at the counter before I was done at the register. Overall terrible food quality and burnt sweet tea. It’s sad to see the decline of a once really good fast food establishment.

My first time eating Raising Cane’s Chicken. It was very good & the food was nice and hot. The dipping sauce was so good. I had the 3 piece chicken tender combo. I enjoyed the food & I’ll eat there again.

The chicken here is far better than KFC or Popeye. Their toast is another thing worth mentioning…. The chicken with their special sauce can be a good combination to make you eat more. This location is inside of NEX mall food court. There is always a wait line to order these delicious chicken.

I always heard of Raising Cane’s before and always wanted to try it! I was pleasantly surprised to see one randomly while walking into the NEX. I had to try it as I don’t not go to Norfolk Naval Base often. Chicken was great as well as the coleslaw and the Texas toast! Fries were average but for the price and the meal you really can’t beat this place. Definitely try it as there isn’t any other locations for this restaurant in the immediate area.
