Stopped in from a long drive heading back home to Utah. Had the country fried steak and it was unbelievable. I come from a small town in Utah and we have what I thought was the best ones. This place was great and wish I could take it home with me. The waitress was awesome and the atmosphere was great. Great prices as well. I hope I’m able to go back at least one more time in my life.

We ordered food to go from Railway following a delayed vacation due to a canceled flight out:(. Everything was delicious! Others complained about paying extra for sides, but I loved being able to create my own. Prices are very reasonable, the meals were done on time and still hot. Thank you for a great meal:).

A+ breakfast spot, holy cow! Perfect eggs, perfect bacon, perfectly crispy hash browns, perfectly buttered Texas toast, and the best sausage gravy I have had in years!! Coffee was hot and delicious, Sonya was very accommodating and kind, this is our new breakfast spot we will be bringing friends and family to!

Definitely a no frills place with excellent service. Ambiance is tired old bar with several tv’s, dirty feeling but trying.
Food was good as long as you’re not looking for anything healthy. We had The Pork Tenderloin ‘basket’ which is really a sandwich with fries, .50 for a very small slice of tomato, .25 for a leaf of lettuce, extras for the sandwich. Kind of ridiculous. Hot beef sandwich with fake potatoes and I had a salad which was simple but fresh and delicious. A 1/2 salad with less than a 1/4 cup of grilled chicken was $12.99.
Don’t expect any mixed drink, cocktail or wine, only shots and beer….NO tap.
I think they need to expand their thinking.

Local Council Bluffs bar an grille , Food and Drink was really good at a fair price , staff was friendly. Plus they served real mashed potatoes , and we went around 4 pm not a lot of people.

UPDATE: 18 Feb 2023 – still love this place!Been here a couple times, now, and it’s pretty good for a bat& grill. I really liked the pork tenderloin sandwich and the fries, but you better bring your appetite if you order that, it’s huge! The chicken dinner special on Saturdays is insane. We got 2 massive meals and I had Dr. Pepper and it was still less than $25 and the food was great! The reuben sandwiches are about the best in the area, too.

Usually very good but the last couple times the handcut fries have been absolutely inedible. I had a BLT today an that was good! Just disappointed that the fries are never good anymore. Stale, hard an over fried. I’d post a picture or video if it would allow me.
