This place seems to be a French inspired with a very laid-back atmosphere. I had a ham and brie croissant sandwich with an egg on top. There was a generous amount of meat and the brie (my favorite cheese) made it so good. I also ordered aebleskivers. “What is that?”you ask. I’ll tell you. It’s as if angels made doughnut holes with the perfect amount of sugary goodness, topped with oats, and then spread a magic yogurt on the plate for dipping. They were so tasty that I couldn’t believe I wasn’t eating manna from heaven. Do yourself a favor and order these. If you don’t know how to say it, just point and grunt like a caveman. They will get the idea.

Rail is a wonderful place to try local ingredients combined into amazing dishes. Highly recommend the grits and the ham and brie sandwich, and you can’t pass up the bakery case (try the cruffin!). There is a bar available for delicious speciality cocktails if interested, plus there’s a shopping area where you can purchase many of the local ingredients they use. Service is excellent as well, definitely worth stopping in for brunch!

Food was great and the portions were perfect. I got the bonjour girl with a side salad. The croissant was flaky and buttery, and the dressing the salad had was sweet but paired well. The bloody mary was also amazing. There is a cafe side and a bar side, we sat on the Cafe side. It’s a seat yourself type.

The much awaited Rail is back – at a new location with ample parking and a very casual vibe. Fully packed on a Sunday afternoon which wasn’t surprising considering the hype.

Coffee is just ok. Not enough vegetarian egg options for breakfast. Love the apple pancakes though! Cute location. Great sweets.

We’ve been twice in the last 2 weeks..so glad Rail is finally back! Had my baby shower at the original location, so it’s only fitting my toddler LOVES it here too! Their kid menu is fantastic. I love all the nutritious and local options. And I enjoy the market selections and prices! We went on Saturdays ~12:45 and always found a spot. Thanks for being awesome!

What a wonderful discovery — not just the food but the whole experience! We came in early on a Saturday evening, drawn in by the beauty and charm of the old barn. Though we didn’t have a reservation, luckily we found seats at the chef’s counter, which was so much fun! We chatted up the cooks and watched all the food being prepared, which gave us a great preview of the whole menu.

We LOVE this place! I’ve told so many people about it. We try and go once a week. The food is fresh and amazing. I usually get the same thing (that’s just how I am) but my husband has tried almost everything and also loves it. I usually do a pick 2 (salad and blt) and it never disappoints. Also, my 5year old loves the kid menu and so do we. You get a lot for the price and it’s fresh and a pretty big portion. Not your typical kids meal.
