Well worth it! In Ghana they have a saying, TIA (This is Africa). Seeing some of the peoples reviews, y’all need to know that in Africa, this Restraunt is legit.

waiste of money turkey tail is either uncooked or too dried to chew, fried yam is not fresh it’s from the day before. The jollof is the worst jollof we ever bought and my brother run ‍♀️ to the bathroom right after eating his jollof and no taste very disappointing. All the food looks like over night.

I love to support my local businesses, so when they opened I went there a few months back and didn’t like the attitude of the lady there and the food wasn’t good. At that time I thought they’ve opened recently so maybe the quality of everything will improve. So, I went yesterday and I’m sorry to say but the lady’s attitude and the quality of food is worse than my first visit. I’m posting pictures just because I took them while I was waiting for my order. Bottom line I will not be going back again ever. Not recommended at all.

Great food cooked and served by the most unprofessional and disrespectful staff. Placed an order online, arrived 30 minutes later only to be told that I never placed an order. 5 minutes of showing the cashier the order confirmation AND my bank account showing that my card was charged. Another employee had to come to the front and locate my order because the cashier did not know how to operate the computer. That was last time. This time, once again they charged my card, I arrive at the store to find out they are out of the item that I ordered. I substituted the item with something that was $5 cheaper. Did they give me the $5 back? Nope. IF this wasn’t the only african restaurant in a 30 mile radius, they would be out of business.

Everything was good and while the lady got right to the point when we walked in, she was very nice. Will definitely be going back there again, you get a lot of food for your money.

Takes forever to cook the food almost 1.5-2 hours for yams!! Not once !! The lady working here is so rude and ignorant and lazy and slow like turtle. I will never come back again in my whole life !!

This place should simply close. I can’t describe how rude, unprofessional, dirty and despicable these people are. The old lady that has an extremely bleach skin is the worse person for any business. I just called them to place an order and GOD…by the end of the call I just said: never mind, cancel the order. If you all are looking for an another African restaurant, there one called Zainab food in Herndon. Try that please stay away from Rahama Sterling. I’m African and love African but, Rahama Sterling should never exist nor represent Africans.

The food was great and prepared very quickly. Good value for Ghanaian food. We ordered Jollof Rice with Fried chicken, Fried Rice w/Fried Chicken, Fufu with Palm But soup and goat meat, and Rice with Palava sauce (spinach fish and beef). Everything was good. The fried chicken could have been fried a little longer since the pieces were really big (drumsticks). We considered dining in but we got the idea that with all of the furniture put away (chairs on the tables) it felt easier to get the food to go. I could have instead called ahead and picked up but again the food was ready very quickly.
