Radnor’s Smash Burgers & Beignets in Tacoma is an absolute must-visit. The fries were perfectly done—crunchy on the outside yet meaty and satisfying on the inside. The smash burgers? Hands down the best I’ve tasted in this entire region (I moved here from Oklahoma, birthplace of the smash burger). Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, they set a new standard for what a smash burger should be.
On top of the incredible food, the owner was genuinely friendly and inviting, making the experience feel warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food also came out impressively fast, which was a pleasant surprise given the quality.
Amazing food, great service, and an all-around standout spot. I’ll be back without a doubt.

I’d heard great things about their smash burgers so had a chance to give them a try. Outstanding smash burger with their signature sauce. Meat was crisp but not overly cooked; fries were thick and crispy. The beignets were also nicely done, not overly sugared – just the right mix. Even though they had a big lunch order service was friendly and Willow who was at the front desk kept us updated on our order. Great price on the burger as well. Recommended if you want a great burger and beignets!

Delicious smash burgers in a laid back atmosphere. I added the carmelized onions to my South Sound smash burger, but there are a lot of other options. Service was very friendly. They have a decent variety of ciders and beer. The rad fries are great and the beignets melt in your mouth.

My boyfriend and I were in the area to check Radnor’s which I have bookmarked since they first opened! Smash burgers are the new craze and after stopping by, I can see why! The burgers are juicy and full of flavor. The menu is concise but has quite the variety as they have chicken offerings (chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders), hot dogs, and even have beignets! The space may seem small but they actually have another room that is huge with a bar and big screen. They host plenty of events and do lots of collabs with other small businesses/chefs.
Whenever anyone enters, you are greeted warmly by a staff member. The cashier was very kind and would ask how everyone was doing. We got the single smash and french fries for the both of us and it did not take long to get our food. Once our bag of food was delivered, we were kindly told that there were condiments and water for us on a small counter. The food was delicious, the fries had the perfect seasoning and the rad sauce on the single smash was absolutely delicious and definitely need to get that on fries. They also offer lots of other house made sauces including ranch which I have to try that next time! They also have some merch you can buy too. We look forward to coming back and will be telling our friends about this amazing local gem.

I’m just gonna go out and say it. If Dicks and In N Out had a baby. This is it. Their smash burger is so so good. Fries are crispy, hot, seasoned perfectly. Did I mention the staff is so effortlessly friendly! The photos don’t do this place any justice, must try!

My son Dillon was turning 17 and wanted a low-key night with smash burgers and family, so we coordinated an evening with Jo, the events coordinator, and the Radnor’s team. What we got was nothing short of magical.
We watched playoff football on a theater-sized projector while playing cornhole and ping pong in their massive adjacent space, and ate our fill of incredible smash burgers and chicken wings. I had asked in advance about doing something fun for dessert instead of a traditional birthday cake, and the kitchen absolutely delivered — putting together a huge order of beignets and arranging them on a sheet pan into a giant “17,” a smiley face, and Dillon’s name.

The customer service was sooo great. The woman training the person at the front was so welcoming and gave a great overview of the menu. So glad I came in the rad fries and beignets were DELISH. Wish I lived here but when I visit again I will definitely be back here!

Another year around the sun equals another year I get to try burgers with the best man at my wedding and my best friend. This year was landed thanks to a tik Tok, everything was as expected. Small hole in the wall place but when they weren’t making orders they were taking them. Menu was simple and before ordering anything everything was laid out easy to get orders started. Went with the og of the double smash and one single but added caramelized onions and bacon. Bestie got spicy chicken sandwich and a double with fries. Seating was outside next door after the solemn news that the sig brewing location was no longer vacant but that was where we ate. The awesome server Myra even offered to bring our food out and even took the photos for us, so credit to her for the good pics. Food was hot and fresh and even with a given 15 minute wait time it felt like less than 10. Digging into the bag revealed a slightly greasy but sheen wrapper. but unwrapping showed an almost soft pillow like bun with a saucy smash burger. First bite showcasing beef and beef alone but then the help of the “rad” sauce kicked in with a tangy punch of pickle and mayonnaise. Finished first and moved onto the second having the onions and bacon. I have to give credit to the onions as they were some of the most jammy onions I’ve ever had that added a whole different unique touch to complement the beef and bacon combo but the only caveat was the rad sauce. Having so many pickles in a sauce can become overpowered and took slightly away from the meat flavor and the enjoyment of the lacey edges of the smash. Overall I would highly recommend this place as a great place to eat or to go but if pickles aren’t your flavor ask for light rad sauce. Thank you for the awesome service and the hospitality that only Tacoma can offer. Happy holidays!

Love the chill vibe and food here! I ordered the south sound double smash burger, and made it spicy. Also ordered fries, amd 10bof their beignets with their caramel sauce. All of which tasted fantastic! The burger patties were cooked to perfection and were juicy, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, and jalapeños with pepper jack cheese giving just the right amount of heat, with a little burn at the end of the bite. I highly recommend Radnor’s for a date night, a quick bite to eat, and a place to hang out with friends for drinks, games, and food! I will be returning to try the rest of their menu!!!
