This is the lower level below the indoor/outdoor bar and grill upstairs. It’s much more quiet and intimate with high quality food and service. I had the oysters and scallop entree with 2 drinks. It was a great experience, matching the previous 4 or 5 times I’ve been there. Definitely recommended.

Such a vibe! Rooftop was a perfect late-summer breezy atmosphere. I got the Shephards Pie and it was delicious with like a tender pot roast texture to the meat. Also had the Lye Tie mocktail and it was the cutest little refreshing zing. Can’t wait to go for dinner because downstairs is SOOOO sexy

Went here on Valentines to meet my bestie for a friendship date. Free parking with a very nice sized lot. Upon entering, I noticed a very nice, cozy seating area with a fireplace. They also had fresh roses everywhere, which was beautiful. They honored the reservation and sat us promptly. The server was professional but not personable. I’m sure Valentine’s is a busy night, but her energy was lacking tremendously. She was definitely the damper of the evening. Nonetheless, the food was absolutely amazing! We learned they have a patio upstairs with a completely different menu. I was also told they offer brunch. The establishment is very nice, and I would love to try more menu items. I would certainly recommend it.

Just Ok…… Ambiance is incredible but given the location, the demographic isn’t present for the setting. The interior look is similar to Dirty Rascal @ The Thompson, and THAT works, because it’s East Paces, NOT Powers Ferry. The bartenders were engaging and the cocktails were impeccably made. The food however was sorely lacking in all regards. The vegetable and root salad was missing 90% of its ingredients. When we brought that to the staff’s attention, we were supplemented with carrot sticks, like you’d pack in a child’s lunch, rather than the carrot puree the menu boasted. The braised lamb in the agnolotti looked like ground chicken and the sauce was missing any flavor profile whatsoever. Beet salad and shrimp cocktail were ok. The new R&C has a lot of work to do to reach the upscale dining pinnacle they are striving for. Otherwise, they should probably stick to the sports bar/tavern model they have upstairs.

We had a first time takeout order from R&C Kitchen. We ordered shepards pie and fish and chips. The shepards pie presentation was simply distasteful and the flavor was equally not good. The fish and chips were soggy and flavorless. Surely for $80 customers should get a better presentation and better quality meal. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Finally tried out the fancier downstairs after a so-so experience in the upstairs Tavern. First off, we will be back bc the Menu has enough tantalizing options! The Venison is superb!! Had great Service even on a Monday Night with the place empty. Shame they stopped Trivia Night. The downstairs bathroom should have at least one with a changing table.

We dined for brunch and ordered the bananas foster French toast, chicken and waffles, and bottomless mimosas. The French toast was soo good! But unfortunately it does not come with any sides so those were about $12 dollars extra. The chicken and waffles really should be labeled as chicken and waffle with no s because it’s just one waffle with a chicken breast. The waffle is really tasty and the chicken breast was also good but for the price of $23.95 I do not think it’s worth that. The bottomless mimosas were also good as well. It’s $20 to do that which is worth it especially if you like to drink. Overall, while the food was good, it was not great and for the pricing we could go somewhere else and have the same if not better food for cheaper. The total bill was over $100. The service was good, just a little bit slow.

Sat at bar. Felt like a good burger today. Lindsay was my bartender and server. She was amazing. 100% hospitality. She’s only been here 2 months but she is definitely established here. Great eye contact and beautiful smile. Burger was great!!!

Hello, where can I start so my friends got there at 1:30 and I got there at two it is now 315. Still never got the food. Never got any water. The water came super late and when I got there, my friends were complaining because they didn’t get there bottomless mimosas they didn’t get their food. They didn’t get their waters and stuff like that so I sat down for a while and I still never got served so after sitting down for like 1520 minutes I went to the manager which was a lady and I spoke to her she said OK I’ll have them bring you the water so I sat back down 30 minutes later I still didn’t get any water like oh my God it is 88° outside or 80° outside and still didn’t get any water so I had to get up again and go talk to the manager and say hey we still don’t even have any water they were saying that they didn’t have any glassware like put it in a regular cup or a bowl? Who cares just bring the water and bring the drinks so finally they brought it and They still the food never came so I asked her the waitress to tell the manager to come to the table, the female manager she never came. She sent some guy manager over. He had a whole attitude and try to make it seem like we were some drunk saying oh it was you’re just worried about the bottomless mimosas. No we’re worried about the food too. We’re worried about the water worried about everything like why are you so pressed on these bottom mimosas then I told him that he should get Compa some drinks being that we’ve been sitting here for almost 2 hours and he said no how dare him Then he turned around and brought the food, but one of the girls canceled the food, but my son was crying for french fries so I was like let me get the french fries he goes no you want to cancel I was like if you don’t give me my french fries like how dare you you know those french fries with my son put the french fries down and get let him eat his french fries the kids were so hungry they were over there three kids were all in one little french fry bowl starving. Trying to eat these little french fries because we didn’t have any food after they played their baseball games earlier today I mean, this was ridiculous and Then after all that he leaves and he goes oh WILL, and then he says the waitress back and the waitress goes oh well cop your bill but Wood bill we didn’t get any any food we didn’t get any drink, so what are you really copping? I didn’t get my food now I gotta go somewhere else to eat like really it’s really a nice place but they need to get their customer service their manager and things together. I’m gonna contact the owners and tell them about this because this was terrible people spent all this money for a nice restaurant to have crappy service.

Dined in for the first time there this past weekend.
The place it is absolutely stunning. They did an incredible job with the interior. It’s elegant, cozy and inviting.
We shared few appetizers to start with ( beet salad, brussels caesar, deviled eggs and hamachi crudo). The presentation was beautiful and everything was delicious. I didn’t actually try the beet salad, but my friends said that it was good. I loved my brussels Caesar salad, a very interesting and delicious spin on the traditional Caesar. Way better in my opinion. And hamachi crudo was exceptional!
For my main course I had the Halibut. It was perfection. I rarely find a place in the city where they can cook and serve a perfect halibut dish, this place executed it. And I mean just look at the plate. The presentation and attention to details. Chef’s Kiss
My friends had the branzino and the lamb ravioli.
And for dessert we had the cheesecake which was very good. The sauce on the top and on the side of the plate ( not sure what was ) but it was a bit sour/tingly and it complemented it very well. Loved it!
After dinner we had a few cocktails in the Crown Club ( which is their private members club )
DJ (the bartender) was incredible and he made us some reaaaally good cocktails.
I really have no complaints at all about this restaurant and I can’t even believe that I’m saying this. It is extremely rare that I am pleased from A to Z in a restaurant. But R & C Kitchen absolutely delivered it from the interior, service, food and cocktails.
I wish them the best and I cannot wait to go back!
