We wanted to create an atmosphere that was conducive for viewing sporting events, enjoying cuisine and most importantly having a great time. Our bar is stocked with a large selection of local and national craft beers both on draft and bottle. The unique bar menu offers American classics such as burgers and wings, but our specialty is Eastern European cuisine. The food here is decent. It’s a great atmosphere for what you call a sports bar , but works well with the great service.

I was in the area and stopped by for a quick bite to eat. The wings were good, service could have been better. One of the bartenders attitude towards me was not very friendly as opposed to how she treated the other people who looked like her. Luckily she was leaving and another short bartender took over and made the experience a little better.

I sat down on a Friday night . For over 20 minutes with no service when asking who was the server she immediately told me to go to the bar when talking to the owner he stated that was wrong and should not have been said the server came to the table with an attitude!! But your at work??? I bartend at Buffalo Wild Wings down the street I come here very often … I will never come back here!!! Very disappointed

Then ordered 30 boneless wings which took another 40 mins. 1/2 the order of wings were edible and the other 1/2 were a crap shoot, taking a bite afraid of breaking a tooth.
After we left we Tried calling the owner because he was always such a nice man and I never had a bad experience @ R Bar. Unfortunately he was unable to take the call.
It was just absolutely gross food and horrible service. I hope this review gets addressed and food and service are improved since I don’t want any business to fail.

Atmosphere is good but portion size for the price was like a luxury meal for a child..
Our server “Lily” was great!!!!!
I will definitely eat elsewhere before coming back to watch the games.
Cleaning lady/bus-girl was flossing her teeth as she was clearing the tables even til 5pm.

Food was good but nothing to brag about. They have a lot of tvs so that’s nice for games. Plenty of seating. The biggest problem I have is we were there for a toy drive. Because the group was so large we had to pay for every order. Whether it was for 1 drink or food. This I’m not so concerned about. What was very shady is the waitress was charging different prices for the same items and then adding a tip without informing you and expecting more. This is so dishonest. And the different prices for the same items is very disconcerting. I will not be coming back here.

Fun Place, lots of tbles, plenty of room . Bar top areas alittle small . Be warned Tuesdays is bingo night but when its over the place empties out fast and then its even a better place. Barmaid was in top form never missed a beat. Thank you ! Ill be back when passing through forsure. Theres TV’s everywhere if you are a Sports person.. this place would be heaven for folks who like sports

Second time at the St. John location. Been to the original location multiple times. We had the server named Sam. She was rude. Our service was not good at all whatsoever. Every time I see her at the highland location she’s always sitting down at the table on her phone or gossiping behind the bar with the bartender. I was there on Sunday and saw her (it looked like the other two servers were a little busy and needed help) she was sitting at the table and bar, drinking the entire time instead of being a team player and helping them out. I believe our server’s name was Nathalie that night and she had disappeared so the other server took care of us for a moment and we appreciated her. They were both awesome. The only reason why we recognize Sam is because she is always there, drinking, gossiping, and on her phone. It’s not hard to recognize those kind of employees. I see her drinking or hungover majority of the time instead of being a good employee. She doesn’t care about her appearance either. We will request to not have her at either location. Hopefully Alex can get this specific employee in line, or out of there. Do better, Rbar! Food is great, but the servers AND bartenders ***** ESPECIALLY ***** the ones that have been there for YEARS, need better attitudes.

So, brought my friend here for lunch for her 56th birthday. While our server seemed preoccupied on her phone, not excited to be there and was standoffish, me being old school, thought let me give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she’s introverted. Looked past all the uninterested, non friendly standoffish and pretty much showing rudeness, I kept at being overly nice. Though it was highly uncomfortable. Had to find her several times just to get service or to cash out. every time looked bored and interrupted to disturb her texting. . I gave 10 percent, which i usually give 40 peecent. I find it ironic that when we cashed out she became highly friendly. Like a different person.so i felt bad so i wrote a note on the check. Saying what ive said in this review. Fyi .customer service breaks business. If we spent time saying how rude she was, its more time spent rather than enjoying. She was dark hair. Around 1pm. We made jokes with her and was merely asking about food and the menu, which she had no knowledge and she asked rudely if she should come back. like we were wasting her time to get back to texting . This was a Sunday with no crowd and no bears game No excuse. highly uncomfotable. food was good..

Was excited that they offered a holiday drink because my friends and I enjoy trying holiday drinks at bars..I Ordered a $12 pumpkin drink that was maybe an inch in liquid and 3 inches of whipped cream and had no flavor at all. Very disappointed in the drink. Cannot believe how Cheaply made this drink was. I told the waitress. If I was at Coopers Hawk or any other bar and someone complained about the drink, it would have been comped because that would’ve been a no-brainer to win back your business. Rbar charged me full price. Never gonna ever order a drink again at Rbar. Obviously they don’t care to win my business back.

The environment is like fast food and I think could be a little different. The 4 stars on food is because it’s hard to get something that is not fried or has no bread.
