I recently took my 91-year-old granddaddy (a proud veteran) to the Golden Corral in Roxboro one Sunday after church, and I just want to say how amazing the staff was. The manager went out of their way to reserve us a seat, and the cashier was so patient while we got everything together. Everyone treated my grandfather with such kindness and respect, it truly meant a lot to us.
And of course, the food was delicious, everything was hot and fresh!
Thank you to the whole team for making his visit special. I was very pleased and genuinely honored by the way they cared for him. We’ll definitely be back!

Durham NC Apex 55 area I really didn’t like!Hello, to all!?!? The date was Dec05,2025 @ 5:00-7:00 pm. The.area we were located in was in the private party area; The area was too cold for the kids so I requested would the manager turn down the air and she did. I appreciate that part. We had at least 30 guess to arrive.. The entire 30 party guess was complaining about the FOOD!!!! I will never return due to the quality of the food. The temperature was not hot at all. The food also appeared old or sitting over time. Just repeatedly stirring but no change up. The chicken was old with lots grease. Bar food was LARGE NEGATIVE !!?!?!?!?!?! (salad bar ok)

Excellent family and occasion chain- buffet offering all types of raw salad veggies fruits toppings chicken fish shrimp veggies tacos soda water juice all types of desserts plus menu selection available which I had the ribeye dinner- it was succulent hot and cooked to my specification- the buffet for seniors during designated times is a cool $9 and some change including the beverage. The Manager very patient friendly and efficient!

Thanksgiving Day dinner, There was a line all the way out the door into the parking lot but the management and wait staff kept the line moving. We were in line not more than 5 minutes. Our waitress, Lori was quite busy but still very attentive. She kept our drinks filled and our table cleared of dirty plates. She even took the time to offer us hot coffee with our dessert. The fried chicken is always hot and delicious. I like mine with blue cheese dressing.

Great place, a little out of the way so less crowded than a lot of Golden Corral’s I’ve been too. Great service and everybody was friendly. Food was, as usual, on point. I particularly liked the steak and the ribs.
