Went on St. Patrick’s Day so it was crazy busy! Staff was nice – even though they were flat out. Prices were ok. I got corned beef and cabbage with mashed potatoes and bacon onion jam, a scotch egg, and sticky toffee pudding. The scotch egg was great – very thin layer of sausage that wasn’t overbearing in spices and a crispy coating. The corned beef and potatoes were ok – I have had just as good from grocery stores. The cabbage was very undercooked and had little to no flavor. The bacon jam was a sweet change as a condiment instead of the usual mustard, but I wish there had been more than a teaspoon of it. The real disappointment was sticky toffee pudding. I know it was “to go”, but when I opened the box this is what I saw (see photo). One little square of cake with a small container of cold sauce is not sticky toffee pudding, not worth $7, and I expected a lot more.

This is my favorite spot in the city, hands down. They have the best scotch eggs, wings are great, bacon wrapped scallops cooked perfectly. Their pub ale is soooo good! Great whiskey selection, too. The darts players are competitive!

I loved this spot, I stopped in for dinner and some beers while staying in Lancaster. The wings were really good, lots of beers to pick from, great staff and service. It’s a very cozy, comforting place to hang out and take in some of the great hidden Pennsylvanian charm. I would highly recommend checking it out and leaving a nice tip- you, and the workers deserve both!

This is based off takeout, so dining in may be a totally different experience. But the experience overall was just okay. It was busy inside, but the staff was still attentive and nice.

Entrees and men’s room were gross. Fish was incinerated/unrecognizable with rock hard batter. The shepards pie analog was not good. Prices a bit on the high end. Nice atmosphere just for wings and beer. I like mine crispy. Service was good too.

My family loves this historic restaurant, Joe said he used to drink here with his dad 50 years ago, I love their special weekend menu, but we haven’t been to this restaurant for a long time, their bartender is too busy, please You notice their glass is always sticky and sometimes there are other slobbers on the glass and a lot of oily handprints…it makes me sick. I won’t write hypocritical content, I just hope they pay attention to hygiene, now the epidemic is bad, hygiene is very important, I hope we can go back to the restaurant again,

Stopped here for beers with friends and we had a great time. We got beers inside and sat outside on the front porch. Traffic was kind of loud, but it was a nice day and the porch was relatively secluded from the road. Would stop in again for a nice outside area for drinks!
