This was the perfect fuel up stop for the middle of a long bike ride. They not only have ice cream, but they also have some basic foods like hot dogs and nachos.
The food is nothing fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. They’re cash only, and they pass on the savings to the customer. They also include tax, so you’re not messing around counting pennies out.
They had a full staff the day we went, so service was excellent.

Great little custard shop! Prices are great and the food is classic for the location. We’ve been here everyday of our vacation for lunch and a treat. Will be back again tomorrow!

Waited 25 mins. to not even get served. We stood at the counter and were never even spoken to. We watched the girl serve one family which took 25 minutes. She didn’t even finish in that time. She did 1 item at a time. Even the sodas!!! Very poor customer service. We left and weren’t the only ones. You are losing lots of money!!

Kinda sorry to do this, I’ve came here since I was a kid. Their customer service is no good. And the last few years even their food has been bad. Took my family there today, got an eyeroll first thing. And my husband orders a blue Hawaiian in a cone.. got a pink Hawaiian in a cup…didn’t even apologize or try to fix the order, and all around rude service. I will start driving an hour to get better service. Don’t think I’ll be back.

waited at least 35 mins to 40 mins to get served. only got one item at a time. one worker was not even doing anything, was laughing with another worker. very disappointed, probably won’t be back. the girl who took the order needed an attitude change.

They now have a lemon cheesecake ice cream that is the best thing I have tasted. Very friendly service. Outside seating only. But a nice shaded setting.

This place is a joke. Stopped by on the way through town to order food and ice cream and now I see why the place is NEVER Busy. After ordering everything I went to pay and handed the girl a 100. She first had to ask someone to come help her do the math for the correct change. After a few seconds of staring at the paper she said they don’t have enough change for a 50 or 100 at 6 pm. I offered to pay by card but they said they have no card reader machine. Lol my senile grandmother could run this business better. Never heard of a business that doesn’t want your money . Pretty pathetic if you’ve been working all day and don’t have 70 dollars in change yet.

Everything is good. Even the food items I have had. Only complaint I have is the wait, but if you come here often you already know about it.
We have gotten malts, shakes, flurries, slushies, banana splits, turtle sundaes, pretzels….it’s all pretty good. The best part is the price! Whole family of 5 doesn’t even break a 20. Their customer service is great. Super helpful.
