Repairing God’s Temple
I always forget to take photos for reviews before we start eating. So this picture was taken at the end of our meal, long past appetizers and multiple servings to a party of six, including three children age nine and under. We started our meal with egg rolls, fried cheese wontons, and some of the best dumplings I’ve ever eaten. This picture includes (clockwise from 12:00) chicken fried rice, pepper chicken, moo shu pork, beef lo mein, and pineapple chicken.
This is my second visit to Quebec Gardens and I do not understand why the parking lot is perpetually empty! I know they do carry out, but this restaurant should be packed every night. The service is attentive, prices are reasonable, and the food is exceptional! I’m not saying that Michelin is going to be stopping by anytime soon, but when you eat an entree where the produce is so obviously fresh, it was made to order, and the flavors are rich and wonderful, you just have to go in for more. Not a single bite of meat was ever dry or tough, but always tender and delicious.
Lo mein is not usually my favorite Chinese dish because so often the noodles and meat are both overcooked … one to mush and the other to leather. But I woke up this morning eager to claim the leftovers for my lunch, and I’ll fight anyone who contests me because it’s the best lo mein I have ever eaten!
The decor leaves something to be desired, but they have put their effort into the food and I respect that. The tables and chairs don’t match, so don’t come in looking for a visual appeal. Just look at your menu, choose everything that looks delicious, and enjoy your leftovers.
I realize that the wait for a table and food will be longer when this place gains popularity, but I’m willing to make that sacrifice, and I think you will be too!

Server was rude. Trying to keep pushing me to make it a combo. Then wouldn’t let me order one of the daily specials. I was here a week earlier at a later time and ordered it. I found the same thing on the next page but was considered small dinners. I didn’t have the money to make it a meal. I was getting my Windows tinted and just wanted something to snack on and this was the closest place. But the food is good.

Dinner here began with a bowl of Hot & Sour Soup. Tofu, tree ear, and other ingredients in a steaming chicken broth. The three entrees appeared at once. Sweet & Sour Shrimp with pineapple, green pepper & onion. Pepper Steak came dressed in a delightful sauce reminiscent of Oyster Sauce & a slight sugar., covering the green peppers, onions & steak..
The Spicy Green Beans did not disappoint! Two of us ordered white rice to accompany, always the better choice, seeing as the fried rice was not the same as the entrée Fried Rice.
Definitely going to have to return to try the rest of the menu offerings. Lunch prices are even lower

Food and service were great, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Lunch specials only. $9.99 each.

Went here for dinner with my mother. The food was delicious and came out super quickly since we were the only dine in customers. Very clean and spacious. We got bbq beef skewers, homestyle tofu, and pork with black bean sauce, which were all amazing and delicious. Definitely will be coming back

Go check this place out! We need this on the Westside. It’s clean, the food is great, and reasonably priced! Staff very friendly and food came quick. This is very reminiscent of the Chinese restaurant that was there in the 90s. Love it and we will be back! I’m sorry we did not know they opened 7 months ago or we would have come sooner.

I just moved to the area from the other side of Cincinnati. The portion size for the noodles was decent, but I got the pepper steak combo with the egg roll and for the $16 I was very underwhelmed by the portion size. The local spot in mt washington where I previously lived had combos for $10 and literally almost twice the portion size. Food quality was very good, and as I said noodle portions seem good, but the combo entrees seem very unfair for almost an $20 entree.

Just got take out and the food is delicious and portions were great. Would have taken a picture but we ate it too fast. Found my new favorite spot on the West Side. Will definitely be back!

Definitely not the Quebec Gardens of the past. At lunch, no one else was in there, our server hovered uncomfortably. Egg rolls tasted old, overall our dishes were palatable but not delicious. Decor is bland and tired.
