I like the food, ordered barbacoa platter. Only complaint is that unlike other restaurants the meat portion isn’t in the main section of the take out container. It’s in the small section usually for sides.. so less meat & more rice / beans.

Very friendly service, very fair prices, very clean store and bathroom. The food was very much on point with a lot of other Mexican food spots around town. I ordered the Asada burrito and it was cooked well, and tasted great. The burrito shell seemed to have been cooked in the asada juice because was moist and flavorful. Meal came with the tried and true green and orange sauce cups. If you’re looking for a reliable Mexican spot in the suburbs, this is your place to go.

I ordered two American style tacos and got two street tacos. Not only that mix up but the chicken was not fresh and it was hard to chew on a lot of the pieces. The queso and corn tortillas were good but I feel like the tacos were not what I was expecting.i couldn’t even finish one…

For at least a month, I had ordered these tacos, and the taste was good, but the construction of them was not very good. [Because of how much cream and wet items they put in the corn tortilla…These tortillas would fall apart as soon as you picked them up.]
I went in and asked if they could put a crispier flour tortilla on the outside for “sturdiness” and they did.
Today, 10 minutes after ordering my meal they told me that they were to up-charge me $1+tax on each tortilla. Now, tacos cost nearly $6 each. I didn’t like how they handled that scenario.
UPDATE: 4/29/25
Although I am upset at how they handled the “up-charge”, it is important to note…this is a personal beef I have. I’ll get over it.
I still, to this day, recommend them for it is only fair to be HONEST.
I posted the photo so you can see exactly how I ordered their tacos. The way they look is how they SHOULD BE MADE at all times because the tacos are very WET!!!
Their fish and shrimp taco (as I have them construct it), is the best thing I have ever tasted in MY LIFE! (and that’s being upfront and honest)

I ordered 4 tacos and a quesabirria. They only gave me 3 tacos. I called to ask for either a refund or said that I will drive back and pick up the taco. They said I was lying and refused to refund me or make me another taco! I even said I’ll bring my entire order back so they can see, but they kept saying I need to deal with this tomorrow and refused to help me. Won’t be coming back.

What a spectacular meal!! From the moment we walked in and were cheerfully greeted with smiles and great aromas. We ordered and our food was quickly ready. I ordered a steak and adobo machete, and my wife ordered the chilaquiles. Both were exceptionally delicious!!! The fresh corn dough was delicious and fresh meats fantastic. So many great choices on the menu we will absolutely return to delight in the flavors. Absolute 5 star food!

This little Authentic Mexican place was referred to me by an acquaintance foodie…

So, I decided to check it out…

When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised.
It’s colorfully painted, clean, well organized and the employees were very polite & informative of the fresh made food they create for customers.

So, if you’re new to this kind of place – Ask questions! They are wonderful people who will take the time to walk you through their menu and help you make the right choices of the flavor of food you’re looking for.

FYI: They do not sell alcoholic beverages here, however have a great variety of non-alcoholic ones which includes Coke products.

I honestly got carried away with the fresh authentic food choices! The options were so good and so reasonably priced I decided to take my order to go…

Best choice ever that day!
Reheating a few of the items at home never compromised the flavor or texture of the food! Even taking Que Taco to a Brew Pub would be a great idea.

I had 2 Chicken Tamales ($2.99 each), 2 Taco Nortenos ($2.99 each) – 1 Barbacoa & 1 Asada, 1 Shrimp Taco ($3.25) & 1 Las Gringas Taco ($2.75).

They were so tasteful with just the right amount of spice! I must admit that my favorite Que Taco is their Nortenos with Barbacoa Shredded Beef! Spicy but not overbearing.

You can’t beat these prices for this amazing fresh made Authentic Mexican food joint!
I consider myself lucky since it’s 5 minutes from my family’s lake place on Lower Prior which makes for some great future patio lunch get togethers during the warmer months!
I plan on coming back soon though! Yum!

Thank you Que Taco for providing the local public with such a wonderful place to get great fresh made authentic food!!

Ahhhh, the 4.5 dilemma: round up or down… I decided to go up for the fantastic corn shells on the delicious street tacos. Thick – yet soft and pliable – no tears, no sogginess. A+++

We ordered 3 street tacos: Asada, Carnitas & Chicken Tinga (asada, while still good was the least favorite), all were simple protein, white onion & cilantro, as they should be. The meats were juicy & the salsa brought a tear to the eye of my heat loving husband- not sure if it was the unexpected kick or if it was joy… we were very pleased.
Also ordered a super fish taco (good) & chips with chorizo queso… the chips were standard tortilla chips & the queso was thin – the consistency of milk thin… tho quite tasty.

Order & pick up at the counter for dine-in or take out. No table service, tho there are several tables, self-bus, prices are reasonable and the menu /concrpt is clear. Definitely recommend!

The girl never told us they only had takeout. It was 9 pm and she was arrogant, only leaving us with takeout food that was already cold. We came to eat there because Google Maps said they closed at 10 pm.
