I recently had the chance to try out the brand-new Qdoba location in Waldorf, Maryland, and overall, it was a great experience. As with most new openings, the team is still working through some growing pains, so the service was a bit slower than usual. However, the staff was friendly and patient, and you could tell they were doing their best to make sure each order was made fresh and correct. Once they find their rhythm, I’m confident things will move much more smoothly.
Now, let’s talk about the food — because that’s where this location really shines. Everything I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The burrito I had was packed with ingredients, and the portions were generous, just like what you’d expect from any well-established Qdoba. The rice was seasoned just right, the chicken was tender, and the toppings were fresh and colorful. It definitely lived up to the quality I’ve experienced at other Qdoba restaurants.
The restaurant itself is clean and modern, with plenty of seating options if you choose to dine in. Parking can feel a bit tight since it’s located in a busy shopping center, but it’s manageable — just something to be aware of during peak hours.
Overall, despite the small hiccups that come with a brand-new opening, my visit was absolutely worth it. The food more than made up for the short wait, and it’s clear this location has a lot of potential once the staff gets fully settled in. If you’re in the Waldorf area and craving a good burrito, bowl, or taco, I highly recommend stopping by the new Qdoba and treating yourself to a great meal.

I’m so upset that I asked my mom if she wanted to go here instead of cava..SMH.. I use to eat QDOBA daily when I worked in DC so when they said there was one opening up closer to me I was into excited. I had a coupon for a $1 soup with a purchase of an entree.. I ask the lady for the $1 tortilla soup. She brung out this big tortilla bowl and started filling it like it was a regular bowl. I kept asking her over and over again “IS THAT THE $1 SOUP” she kept saying yes. At the end I asked again.. she said yes. Got to the register and my total was almost $30 I started to get upset but I knew my mom was hungry so I just paid and left. She didn’t even put the order in right. Why was I charged for pork anything when we both got chicken????? Then I get home.. open the bag and THERES RANDOM SCRUNCHIES WITH HAIR IN THE BAG!!! WHAT IN THE ENTIRE HELL.. neither me or my mom wear scrunchies. Just horrified. I called the restaurant back and the manager wanted me to drive the food all the way back so they could remake it. ♀️ ♀️ IM GOOD.. not even hungry at this point

2nd visit and 1st time ordering a kids quesadilla meal. $8.99 before taxes for this serving. This is crazy priced for this small simple kids meal. Needless to say we won’t be going back, I can get a better kids meal every other fast food places for way under this price. Chick-fil-A, chipotle, tropical smoothie to name a few. Our first visit was also underwhelming with the 3 adult meals that I got for the family. I decided on a 2nd visit to get my daughter her dinner for gymnastics training and this wasn’t it. Please reevaluate your pricing if you intent on staying competitive/busy in the area.

Today was grand opening and we didnt know! We usually try to create an account and do mobile order and then pick up. Husband had to wait 30 minutes inside still to pick up order but now knowing it was the grand opening and them opening at 1 til 6 pm. That’s actually okay.
After we had our order, Husband saw an FB post saying free meal today which makes sense why there were SO MANY PEOPLE. But considering we had 3 bowls plus 2 bags of chips with queso for 40? That was pretty good! As we already spend 35 for only 2 bowls at cava.
The food was good. It was flavorful and there was so much! The chips had a lime flavor to them that made it addictive. I liked the grilled steak. I liked the cilantro rice and the toppings. The only thing, is with the queso. I wish the peppers were blended instead of the big chunks of them for consistency. It tasted mostly like milk with a hint of white american cheese. Nonetheless, we like it and will definitely be back. Hopefully it’ll be as consistent.

Do not goto this place. Especially with or for your kids they sell A MONTH OLD EXPIRED MILK WITH THEIR KIDS MEALS. When I called them to complain they simply hang up and never pick up you call again. I’m going to complain to a health department tomorrow.

Food is usually fresh and tasty though chips on the salty side. Just opened a few weeks ago and I’ve been noticing sloppy work. Fajita veggies apparently means a quarter of a bell pepper thrown into the bowl.

Vibes were off soon as we walked in the door. I don’t know what it is with Latino workers but they seem to have a problem serving black people . I don’t know what that’s all about but I’ll continue. Eye contact and saying hello is actually called customer service. Looking down and acting like you don’t even wanna take my order is weird. But anyway I proceed to order 2 breakfast burritos. They didn’t wanna bring any fresh eggs out just gave us what they had which I’m pretty sure was from the previous day and then it was a skimpy portion . For $13 make it make sense that I have to ask for any extra scoop. Paid for my stuff and got outta there. No have a nice day or thank you. Now for the review of the actual burrito . 8/10 . Eggs could have been hot and fresher everything else was good. The burrito wrap was good I asked the girl to put it back on the machine to cook it more. My friend enjoyed her steak and egg burrito as well. So now it was so delicious I went back the next day Sunday 8/26/2025 so I could get another one before I went to work . The sign says 8:00 am and I got there 8:40 am and the door was locked. 2 people were just standing there so I knocked to make eye contact and they seemed like they couldn’t hear me knocking on the door. One of the workers looked at me and walked to the back. I banged on the door again along with another lady that was waiting and the guy finally stopped looking at his phone and motioned us to go away as if they were not going to open. I have no clue what that was about I guess he didn’t feel like working or opening the door. I think this place needs to hire people that actually wanna work and not family and friends. Customer service definitely needs work and the food needs to be fresh. As soon as the doors open everything should be stocked and the store should be clean. So basically had to work a 8 hour shift with no food. . People just don’t care anymore but want your money. I will never ever go back here again! Ever! That’s a shame because the food was actually good. Hope this helps. I wouldn’t waste my time or money. Just cook at home !

The place was clean and bright and inviting. Sadly, that’s all I can say. My friend and I ate there Friday after going to the Xfinity store. The waitress, polite, but you could not hear them. My friend got a bowl and I got 3 tacos. When my friend made the comment ” my meats not very hot” I should have questioned my order as well… barely warm. I ate them and spent the rest of the night and most of Saturday “indisposed ”
Never again…

I have to agree with other reviewers about the price point and portion size. I don’t mind paying higher prices — but not for noticeably less product. The portion ratio here is off: you’ll get plenty of rice, but maybe half a scoop of protein. It just doesn’t make sense for the cost.
The food itself is decent, but for the value and portion consistency, CAVA is definitely a better option in the area.

Mannnn this was fire!!! food was great, better than chipotle, and the food choices was better, they got sauces, different cheeses, and they got a tortilla bowl you can get as in your burrito bowl. I’ll be back… a bunch more times!!
