Nana’s would be awesome. The problem isn’t anything that they have done, the problem is that Hamburger Heaven is less than 2 miles away. The Chicago dog at Nana’s is good. Really good. It is just a step below Hamburger Heaven. The people working there were nice and I got my food quick. Some people have complained that food takes a long time- they cook everything fresh, what do you expect. This place is leaps and bounds above the average fast food place.
Don’t misunderstand. It wasn’t that it was bad. I would recommend it. But I would recommend Hamburger Heaven more. That place is awesome. Nana’s is just really good, and they have virtually the same menus.
Just a final note. Nana’s forgot an order of fries in my bag. I have a feeling it is because the kids that took my order wasn’t very attentive. He was trying, but he looked like he was 15 and didn’t quite get the whole ‘working’ thing yet. He was pleasant enough. Just couldn’t quite translate my order to the register. And I was reading the items directly from the overhead menu, nothing special. Check your food before you leave. It is important.

Came for lunch and immediately walking in, the floor was very greasy and I had to make sure I didn’t slip. Ordered a 1/3 cheeseburger with fries. The fries were fresh cut and delicious. I liked that they weren’t overly salty either. When my order arrived they provide packets of salt to season to your liking. The cheese burger is topped with grilled onions and mustard. The burger was heavenly and the seasoning was on point. It is a thin burger patty, but it’s greasy and tasty. The only complaint I have is that the floors were dangerously greasy and the bathrooms were dirty. I will still come back to try other menu items.

Food is pretty average. Their shakes are delicious though and you can’t beat the price of their Saturday mini beef special. For being a hot dog place though, their hot dogs really don’t do it for me

Stopped in around lunch. It was not packed at all, this place is now open. They’ve been open for three weeks, I highly recommend the double dog and fries. GREAT quality, the lady up front is very nice and the cook does a GREAT job making the food fresh and hot and quick.

I wanted to like this place very much. I ended up getting a Chicago hot dog special, fresh cut fries, dipped mini beef and drink for like $7.50. I got the variety I was looking fir. The tomatoes were ends and cut very weirdly. The beef was definitely mini it couldn’t have been more than 4 in. It was juicy. it definitely wasn’t dipped. The flavor was underwhelming – not very much flavor. I understand there’s new owners and I would hope this is still part of the learning curve.

First time at this establishment. I drove there from River Grove. The staff is super friendly & patient. I ordered a hot dog special which came with fresh cut fries… With the potato peel which I prefer. It is delicious and will try again.
