I’ve got hundreds of millions views of my reviews on here from all over the world and many of them are for some of the best BBQ locations known to man. First thing I noticed yesterday, while waiting in line five people in front of me giving their order were greeted by name. These employees were either from Chick-fil-A training camp or this business has much the same mentality of being customer first because they literally greeted every single one and they knew every single one of their names. In some cases they remembered what they wanted from historical orders. Second thing I noticed was how clean the place was. Third thing I noticed, management cared, they were interacting with customers in the dining room and one even recognized an applicant who had applied for work months earlier sitting at the table next to me. There is an attention to micro detail that’s wild at this place. Brisket is always my thing personally so that was the go to and it was one of the best briskets Ive had. Once upon a a time I was a chef with a degree and worked at a places like Fat Canary, this place does an amazing job. Last thing, I’m a banana pudding connoisseur so to speak, if I’m in a place that has it, I’m getting it. I’ve had some of the worst and I’ve had some of the best in this is not just one of the best but it’s very different I’ve never had banana pudding with what seems like in addition of cinnamon or maybe molasses cookie crumble or something in it but it opens the world of banana pudding to new things. They’re opening a spot in Yorktown Virginia here in coming week so you’ll need to stop in there or the other I doubt it matters with this management I’m sure they will be just as consistent at both places.

Food is always consistent and tasty though the prices have constantly risen every year. We live a mile away way so we frequent it a few times a month. Hands down the chicken tenders are the best item along with the milkshakes. BBQ is good the the flock of tenders is the star of the show.

Goes above & beyond! So welcoming, like dinner with family. BBQ was great, sides were fantastic, hush puppies sublime! Service was excellent, employees so polite, & so many generous extras, such as the wooden changing table with baskets of baby diapers, all labeled by size, in the ladies’ room. I wish I lived closer so that I could come here all the time.

Derek was the first person to greet me. Everyone here is so nice! First time ever having this food and he patiently answered all my questions. The food is Delicious! Got the barbecue and husband got the brisket! Will be going to the one in Yorktown when they open. Can not wait! Very nice restaurant to go to with family and friends plus I was so happy to see in the in the woman’s restroom they even supplied diapers for the baby’s under the changing table in different size boxes❤️❤️❤️. What a thoughtful touch!

I have been coming here since they first opened. I wanted to say they have the best BBQ I have ever had, the food is consistently amazing, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere gives a good feel for the town. I always look forward to coming back.

Worst BBQ i ever had. Got the sampler, mega that is. Brisket while tender lacked in flavor. BBQ was decent. Sausage horrible and the chicken tenders were just ok at best.

My daughter brought a bbq sandwich home from an event and ever since then (months), I have been dying to go here. My husband and I drove 45 minutes to check it out and it was worth it. We both got the 5oz bbq sandwiches. The sides we chose were French fries, coleslaw, cheesy potatoes (❤️), and potato salad (tasted like your grannies). The hush puppies were the icing on the cake. My husband is picking, and he had no complaints. The employees were welcoming and it had a chill vibe. It was very clean and not crowded. If you like bbq, check this place out!!!

I purchased lunch here around 2pm and there is a decent chance that influenced the quality of the food but overall, I received mediocre BBQ. The pulled pork was fine but nothing special, the brisket was approx. 20% fat cap and half of the actual was a bit dry (alright flavor, nothing exciting), the hush puppies were old and dry, collards were acceptable, the coleslaw was very run of the mill and have purchased grocery store coleslaw that tasted the exact same, the chicken tenders were wildly small. Everything was lukewarm. The two BBQ sauces on offer were fine and the awesome sauce worked well with the tenders. Service was pleasant. Overall, for $26, (for the sampler plate and two sides) I would say it wasn’t worth it. If it had been hot and fresh, it would be roughly borderline.

Neat local spot. I was in town and craving some bbq. I walk in and I was greeted warmly by staff. Taemon helped me. You can smell this place from the parking lot. Guaranteed to make your mouth water before you even enter. Classic bbq options with a few extras. They had bacon hushpuppies!! I went with the sampler so I could experience it all. Brisket. Pulled pork and chicken tenders. Had to make it a meal too. I went with the potato salad and baked beans. You can bet I’ll be back every time I’m this way again!

Table fist slammin’ delicious. The southern drop sandwich is WORTH EVERY mile and every cent. It would be remiss of me to not tell you to try everything with their Awesome Sauce. Broccoli salad and bacon cheddar hush puppies almost broke the table. I have no clue why this place only has 4.7 stars. Been twice now and had to write it up this time because it deserves the review.
