I recently visited Alexander’s Family Restaurant for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and even entertaining, which made the atmosphere warm and welcoming.
The food was another highlight well-seasoned, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. Everything I tried felt thoughtfully prepared, and it left me eager to come back for more.
Overall, Alexander’s Family Restaurant delivered both great service and delicious food. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!

I love the atmosphere of this place it’s just homey and old school and just feels like your friendly local neighborhood place. It’s primarily a breakfast place although they do serve lunches, but they close at 3pm. Food is good, not exceptional but not bad either…kind of depends on the day/cook I guess. I keep coming back though…and I recommend that you check it out if you haven’t yet

Had breakfast today and it was phenomenal. Great staff also. The best pancakes I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely return and often. Just moved back to Brockton about 3 years ago. My grandparents used to bring me here as a kid. I was happy to decide I’ll be a regular at this place.

World famous they said… best in Brockton they said… no competition they said… in my opinion, all lies!! Other than the turkey sausage breakfast sandwich which was bomb because of the buttered bagel everything and I mean everything was super mid tier basic. I can honestly say I rather Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast unless hitting the mid pancakes up. Super disappointed.

This was my first time here today. I am giving this a three stars for a couple of reasons. The food taste really good but it was not hot. The second reason is I put down $30 for a $20.19 bill. Instead of the waitress saying, “let me get your change,” she asked me if I wanted change. This is so rude. I have left tips like this in the past on several occasions for great service. It was my option. Management, please train your wait staff on approach. No one should be asking customers if they want their change. As customers, we should decide what we are leaving. Please do better here.

My husband and I decided to give Alexander’s another chance after not visiting for years due to a particularly nasty exchange with one of the cooks. I can safely say we should’ve stayed away. Most of our order was done but sat and got cold because there was some confusion between our server and one of the cooks regarding a part of the order. The cook rudely yelled at our server and then begrudgingly completed our order. Other than the pancakes (the subject of the confusion), our food got to us cold and our bread soggy. The wait staff and greeters were great but we go there for the food AND the experience, not one or the other. I think we’ll stay away and maybe consider giving them another chance in a few years.

So i ordered the chicken n waffles and i litterally got 2 of the smallest chicken tenders ive ever seen. To charge close to 20 dollars for 1 waffle and 2 tenders is ridiculous. 2 tenders cmon. I used to love it here but i guess the times have changed.
