Great quality, bit pricey for location, veggie friendly Definitely recommended
We were pleasantly surprised by Puterko’s! The garlic knots are amazing, the pizzas really good and the service is efficient and friendly.
They have a selection of different types of pizza to order from or you can just “design your own”, which is great for any dietary restrictions.
And they have VEGAN CHEESE to substitute on the pizza (instead of regular cheese)…and it’s delicious!
Also: make sure to ask for extra home-made red sauce for your garlic knots, this stuff is good!
Even though they close early, we will be back next time we are in in area

Some of the best pizza I have yet to have! Crispy bottom to the crust with just the right amount of toppings. Great options and unique ones too! From the Cowboy (chicken, onion, BBQ, cheese, etc) and the Polander (cheese, spicy brown mustard, kielbasa, and sauerkraut) posted below to regular pizza galore. We stopped here just as a place to stop and found great family service with excellent pizza. Would go back time and again for sure!

Whenever I go to the Adirondacks, I’ve always made sure to stop by this spot. The first time around, it was probably the best pizza I had in the past 5 years. The second time, the pizza lost some flavor but was still decent. However, we were discouraged to see them closed on Sundays this summer and we had to find another place to stop by. Good experience 4/5.

If you have been to Indian lake New York and around the upstate New York Adirondack’s you have to stop here!!!!!!! Right off of RT.28–RT.30— less than 1 minuet from the corner of Stewart’s in Indian lake NY. I’m a chef for a very long time with high end culinary art drive and I’ve had a lot of pizza in small towns but the ingredients and finesse they use for pizza art is a must try!!!!!!! Please support there finesse!!!

Very nice family style pizza restaurant. Really good gluten free pizza. My son loved it! Service was good. Very clean. Prices were reasonable.

We stumbled on this place because our Google search took us to another place where they weren’t serving. We were hungry and far from home on a day trip through the Adirondacks. We originally were not going for pizza, but our options became limited so we found Puterko’s. The name certainly doesn’t sound pizza like, and the decor was, well, sparse but clean. The owner was alone and very pleasant. He told us a bit about the way he makes his food which we just assumed was salestalk. Boy were we wrong! The pie was really good and made just how we like it. We could easily detect that the ingredients were of quality, and completely home made. The only reason we gave the food 4 stars was because we are food snobs and prefer wood fired or coal fired oven pizza, but that’s costly and labor intensive. However, we were delighted with our dinner, and if ever in the area again Puterko’s will be our go to place!

We liked it so much the first time that we drive from Speculator just to buy pizza from this shop. It is cheaper and tastier by far. Deep dish is amazing. Ask for extra sauce. Family run and they are friendly.

AVOID! We received thoroughly burnt eggplant parmigiana with a side of even more burnt garlic bread, hot wings with a bug in them and the most horrid pizza I have ever tasted. If the food just tasted bad I wouldn’t be leaving this bad review. It’s that they HAD TO KNOW this food was burnt and inedible, but served it anyway. We didn’t realize until we returned to our hotel. DO NOT EAT HERE!

My wife and I love this place! They have vegan cheese and lots of options for vegetable toppings. The pizzas are delicious. And the French fries are excellent. We eat there every time we vacation in Indian Lake. Oh, and the Puterko family members are all super nice. Can’t wait to eat there again next time we’re in town.
