I was brought here as a surprise and overall it was nice. It wasn’t very busy so we were seated quickly and the server came over to take our order quickly. The person sizes were much larger than I was expecting but the taste/quality of it didn’t seem worth what we paid for it. They had nice decorations and Big menu.

To say I was shocked at the quality of food I received on a spur of the moment lunch delivery would be an understatement, this is some of the best authentic Japanese food I’ve ever had. I can’t believe we’ve been sleeping on this for months, we actually live just down the street. Don’t let the location fool you, the sushi I received was better than anything I’ve had at one of the many highly regarded restaurants in the area.
The California roll and crab stick tempura roll were so fresh and flavourful, the rice was a lovely texture, and the sauces were downright amazing.
This was honest authentic food. I can’t wait to come dine in the restaurant!

We got the fiesta roll and the crazy tuna roll. Both rolls were good, the crazy tuna was not spicy but still good. It could’ve used a sauce but I would still get it again. The restaurant is cute and the service was excellent!

Unfortunately I need to update my review. This restaurant has lost a lot of its appeal for me. The food is still good but they no longer have staff who can understand and answer your questions about menu items. Additionally, on more than one occasion we were the only table in the building and it takes more than an hour to get our check. No one comes to ask how we’re doing. No one comes to refill drinks. Staff sits behind the counter on their phone until you waive them down. If they end up closing, this will be why.
