We visited Puré Taquería and had a great experience. The al pastor and asada tacos were good, but the Sonora tacos were our favorite. The guacamole and salmon were also delicious. Even though the place was packed, the service was fast and attentive — Mayela attention was 10/10. We’d definitely come back! Only suggestion: add pork belly and esquites to the appetizer menu.

I have been a fan of Pure for many years! The downtown Duluth location is in a very quaint part of town and is walkable from where I live. The food is consistent and delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal at any location ever !!! Our server, Tai made us feel like special guests. She was highly knowledgeable of the menu and as sweet as can be. An asset to this particular location. The manager, Tahira Is lucky to have her! What a lovely manager indeed . Do not hesitate to visit this location!!

Pure in Duluth is a gem! The birria tacos were hands-down the best I’ve had in Atlanta—flavorful, juicy, and perfect with the consomé. On top of that, the staff was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. Between the food, drinks, and overall vibe, this is definitely one of my favorite spots.

This place is always great and fantastic drinks 🙂 I would love to give a 5 star unfortunately this location does not have a changing table to accommodate families with children. Especially with a restaurant that is supposedly family friendly. Overall a great experience though. Hopefully they can make changes in the future for those with kids.

I do not eat much gentrified mexican food.
But I came to this spot because I was at something near by & my pops wanted Mexican. I was truly reminded why I do not eat at these places.
Im gonna save you the pleasantries.

This was Saturday, 3/7…
I got their and my parents had chips & salsa. Green (tomitillo) & Red (had a chipotle flavor) both very good.
My folks order 2 orders or Fish Tacos. My mom wanted Blackened Fish w/ Flour Tortillas & Dad wanted grilled fish w/ Corn.
I got the Chillaquiles (because if i see that on the menu I’m getting it) & the Chorizo Empanadas… DONT YOU EVER DO IT! More on that in a sec.
I wanted chicken or beef but all they had was Chorizo. 1st bite felt off. And I asked for 1 Empanada and wasnt told 4 come in an order. No worries.
My moms tacos came with no blackening and Corn though she wanted Flour. My dad’s came on flour, thought he wanted corn he didn’t fuss.
I scarfed down my entree and ate 2 of the Empanadas, lord I wish I had not!
But I felt fine.
My moms order was corrected but she didnt even want it at that point & gave me the last taco. My pops just ate his incorrect order & even tho the Empanadas seemed off… I just ate 2 and took 2 home. The salsa was really good, so I took that home too. Its not free the meal was less than mid so whatever get every bang for every buck.
But the next morning OH MY FREAKIN GOSH. THE WAY I Was out my you woulda thought I had Alcohol poisoning! Sidenote: I didnt drink a drop & haven’t in a long time. Smh
I have an extremely strong stomach & my mom had just gotten over food poisoning so we were talking about it at the table and maaaaan if them Empanadas didnt make me sick, then the Chillaquiles did! Because Im the only one who got sick & I also have the strongest stomach.
So if I were you…
I wouldnt do it but if you do… Eat At Your Own Risk! Smh

We’ve been to this place twice. First time the experience was good not the second time though. Lamb burger was good first time, second time the patty was overcooked. Tres leches had more of coconut taste. The staff is friendly and they have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. Overall it was average experience

The tacos have been a bit inconsistent for me: the first visit they were fairly good but somewhat bland, while the next couple visits tasted better.
Big positives are the atmosphere and social vibe. It’s lively and fun, though it can get noisy inside-if you’re on a date and sitting across the table, it can be hard to hear each other. The convenience factor is huge for me since it’s downtown and right across the street, so 1 can walk over anytime. When I’m craving tacos, this is an easy go-to.

This PURE place was really nice It all started with a really nice and welcoming service! We got seated outside as we choose as the weather was perfect! Although the interior is great. It was just a bit busy on a Saturday afternoon . Food was great! Fish tacos were my favorite! they also had espresso coffee, which tasted kind of like Nespresso machine coffee, which was fine. Overall our experience was great and I definitely recommend this place!

Service was great, no real complaints. Price a little $$ but that seems to be more common.

A perfect place to grab a bite to eat in Downtown Duluth. The tacos were so tasty and well seasoned. The chips and salsa was a delicious appetizer and if you have nothing else you have to try those! The margaritas … Mmmmm. The service was great and our server was so friendly. We will be back!
