I’m a long time shopper of this Publix, to the extent that I know the aisles better than some of the people that work here. Today was my last day shopping there. It seems like maybe I’m taking it to extreme, but it was the straw that broke the camel’s back. As always, the deli refuses to attend to you, unless you make the line, so what is the point of ordering online? She saw me, acknowledged me, and proceeded to attend to everyone in the line. It’s a waste of my time and money. The cherry on top was that when I was parking, a very busy Saturday, they decided to leave the carts they were picking up in front of open parking spots. A manager in the parking lot walked by, looked at my car, ignored me and walked inside. I had to move the carts out of the way so that I could park. Customer service is terrible now. I am done with this location. I will say, Juan that reviewed below is truly one of the few highlights – he was always so helpful.

What a nice market! They have a good selection of everything! I got to the deli early at about 11:00am, so there was no line for the sandwiches! Ordered 3 subs, The Italian, The Ultimate & The Chicken Cordon Blue. All three were prepared just the way I like them. The sandwich lady was very nice, spoke mostly Spanish with a little english so there was no problem. I also bought some fresh bread, rolls & pastries. Very satisfied with this employees who were very helpful. Publix prices on some items are a little high but overall they offer a clean, efficient shopping experience!

I’ve been shopping with publix for many years. I don’t like the way they are bagging. To save plastic bags they put together frozen food and cold ones with others that are not. They do that to save the planet. What about the big companies that continue producing the plastic bags and packaging everything in plastic containers, are they saving the planet too? Come on!!! And you are asking me to use reusable bags and not plastic? If a few try and the big companies don’t, we are doing nothing!

Publix in Hialeah is a nice place to shop if you’re looking for quality and variety. The store is always well-stocked and tidy, and the employees are courteous and professional. The bakery and deli sections are especially tempting, with fresh bread, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. The only problem is that the prices are not very friendly to my wallet. Sometimes I feel like I need a second job just to afford my groceries. But I guess you get what you pay for. If you don’t mind spending a bit more, this is a good option for your shopping needs
