Mind blown Absolutely scrumptious! I don’t even know where to begin. The ingredients are Al dente grilled asparagus, sliced avocado, baby kale, knob onion, crispy toasted quinoa (game changer ) with an in house prepared dressing to die for made from ginger and sunflower seeds. As a foodie lover of all things vegetable, this was a hit and saved the day.
We all know the horror stories of airport overpriced, over processed meals that always seem to leave you wanting more with a gaping hole in your wallet. Not today. This win is for the average traveler who’s been burned by airport food one too many times.
Great service and at a cost of $19.50 we can now add “great value” to our airport meal shenanigans today. Cheers to our next adventure
We shared the Coppa Tartine starter over cocktails, my wife ordered the fish sandwich which she enjoyed (I stole some of her pickles) and complimented the Gribiche Aioli that came with. They did mix up her chips for fries but it was busy and we had good service overall so not the kind of thing we mind.
Highlight was the Walleye plate pictured here. Not an overly appealing presentation I’ll note there but the flavors blew me away. Fish was tender, beans creamy, lemons zesty but the winner surprisingly was the dill and parsley greens. Lol, I think they call this ‘Salsa verde’ because they add jalapenos?? In my opinion call it what you want but those flavors worked so well across every bite. A recommended experience, I enjoyed this with a Madeline ale . Oh and the jalapenos weren’t spicy at all, I wasn’t overly interested so I moved to the side and still enjoyed.
Bartender that night was a beast, wish I caught his name.
You can either scan the bar code and order on your phone or get a physical menu. We love ordering on our phones as our Dr told us that restaurant menus are one of the germiest items in the world.
We started with drinks, an old- fashioned for my husband and a red wine for me. My husband’s old-fashioned with Four Roses bourbon was good and had a slice of orange and a cherry.
My husband ordered the wood- fired vegetables, which included carrots and broccoli with a sauce (that included a little spice) and pecans. The veggies were cooked perfectly al dente. I ordered the fish plate, which was a baked haddock with large white beans. The haddock was delicious and the beans were very good.
Service was quick, friendly, and efficient!
Our only suggestion is that the online menu include a better explanation of each item.
We would definitely eat here again and would recommend it to others. It’s a pleasant dining experience at O’Hare.
I chose to get fries on the side which was an up charge from kettle chips but they came out hot and fresh. Honestly for the quality of food and venue provided I definitely think it is a decent value – not only by airport standards.
Thomas was my server and he did a phenomenal job! There was an option to use a QR code menu but he saw me struggling with it and gave me a physical menu. He gave me good recommendations and also helped me move tables so I could charge my laptop.
Our server, Thomas, was observant and helpful. He quietly went about refilling our drinks and provided quick service. He was perfect for getting us back to our gate before boarding.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and tables. It’s like a colonial tavern, and it was good respite from the hustle of O’Hare. Overall I enjoyed my visit and would definitely eat here again.
