Has to be the most disrespectful ownership alive. Situated right next to a hotel where people stay with their families and they blast music all through the night at full volume. Can’t speak for anything else going on there, but based on the music choices, you can tell they must have some real winners walking in and out of there.

Pub 1848 is a gem. Great ownership and staff. While not huge in square footage, it makes up for it with atmosphere. Thanks to all. I regularly attend an Open Mic event there on Mondays.

This, in my opinion, is the best bar in the Quad Cities. Very relaxed and modern atmosphere. They have a great selection of beer and spirits, including high end bottle service. The crowd is usually friendly, the music is great, and the bartenders are all attractive, friendly. and excellent at their jobs. They can make mostly any cocktail you ask for. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a more classy bar that stands out from all of the local dive bars. It’s not too fancy for a casual drink, and they still make a classy cocktail

Went in with a friend. We waited at the bar to get a drink, the bartender looked straight at me & ignored my friend and I after I attempted to get her attention. We left immediately & I will not be back.

Rude service! Bartender wouldn’t accept my valid ID because it was vertical instead of horizontal… despite the fact that I’m 22 and my ID doesn’t expire until 2020. After questioning the bartender on the policy she told me that she would serve me, but still tried telling me my ID wasn’t valid. Very unprofessional service. Another male bartender made a rude remark towards me, and after that we walked out and won’t be back. I recommend checking out one of the other nearby bars! They’re much more fun and have great service!

It was almost Halloween everyone was in costumes it was a pretty hopping bar that night and so many hot ladies. The two bartenders got drink outs with ease there wasnt much if a wait. I had a great night there.

Omar the bartender was very rude and extremely slow. He seemed to be drunk and on something. There were approximately 6 people at the bar and my group outside. I waited for about 5 minutes and then said excuse me Sir, waited a few more minute and tried again, thankfully a customer sitting close called Omar’s name and he came down and told me to stop yelling at him. He was talking to a female customer and made another rude comment about me trying to get service.
He later came out to our table and made a comment about me not leaving a tip. I tip on service and generally tip 20%, but do not tip when being treated very poorly and insulted.
To be clear I only did not tip on a single beer, If he had not insulted me and my table several time we would have stayed and I would have tipped on the next one. He lost 5 customer, plus another 4 more when our friends arrived and we went to another bar in the area.
